Before Enk could answer, Yuder had already left the room. The few remaining servants inside were startled to see Yuder and quickly made way or hurriedly moved aside.

Kishiar is so scared, it hurts my heart :( 💔 This is the first time in the novel he’s had to deal with a complete loss of control. He could keep his cool during Yuder’s manifestation, during his heat, etc because at the end of the day his own control was still in his hands. He was the one reassuring, the one guiding. This Kishiar has never had his vessel break, he’s maintained a balance. His memories of “loss of control” involve pain or death, like him accidentally breaking his horse’s leg. And then he got that memory of what happened with Yuder and other Kishiar in the past life. We’ve seen many hints of him being scared of losing control before. He’s probably terrified and feels like all his fears of what he might be capable of doing to someone he loves are true. Yuder trusts Kishiar more than Kishiar trusts himself right now :(
