I love this idea! It sounds like it could blend into your cop story, once she discovers the shady group's criminal activities. Maybe turn it into a crossover eventually? I'd like to see some characters from one comic appear in another someday, like Bobbi investigating Tandino. Sounds like he would make a good pimp.
