Feature Spotlight #8: New game mode & Dungeon updates
🕑 Added 2024-02-02 02:22:17 +0000 UTCOften times we get asked whether the rival can choose which heroines to corrupt randomly, we are pleased to announce that not only is that game mode returning, but we will also add another game mode that's been requested for a while.
The Rival recruits heroines before the MC.
That's right, in this new game mode the MC doesn't show up in the plaza and instead the rival recruits his party first. This is of course an optional game mode that can be chosen during the prologue.
We've also added an "Ultra Hard mode" that makes the rival extremely strong when he is gifting gifts to a heroine, he only needs 2 to 3 gifts to bring a heroine to 20 affection! This is only recommended for those who want to view rival scenes faster, so they can only enable it in the prologue.
Dungeon Updates
After careful consideration we've decided to make some minor changes to the dungeon. Floors now reset daily so that casual players won't be struck at high leveled floors forever. Difficulty for the early floors will be adjusted of course.
Dungeon points: We've introduced a new currency for players to earn while they are exploring the dungeons, these points can be exchanged for various items including costumes, intercourse guides, etc.
More random rooms: We've added ten more random rooms to spice things up in the dungeon, which include the hot springs and a lore room for those interested in learning about the world.
A new dungeon: Most adventurers only explore the surface level of the massive dungeon, but rumors say there is a hidden layer beneath it. Once your party reaches over the 30th floor, you might randomly stumble upon the entrance...
Playtest when?
Oh yeah, when's the playtesters build release? Lets just say it's in mid-February. More on that in a later post...

Joined the Patreon because I've loved the game so far and this new Ultra Hard Mode sounds fantastic. Honestly, everything in this update sounds great, Chad being able to gift randomly is awesome to bring back.

I would love to see you try to get the harem end in Ultra mode, it's pretty much impossible from just us playtesting :)

Holy crap, this is HUGE. I'm super excited about the Chad Recruits first mechanic, as it felt so far like too little of a challenge to win the affection of all the heroines before Chad if you were aiming for the Harem End (well, that might just be us optimizing play after going through a few version). So this makes for a more immersive experience. That Ultra Hard Mode does sound only for people into the NTR scenes, but I'm still going to try to win anyways. Yeah, I agree that the early dungeons were too easy and the later dungeons got a bit too hard unless you upgraded really high the skills of certain heroines. Resetting daily makes more sense. More lore is always welcome. And potentially a more proper villain, if that's what the hidden dungeon builds up to? Not that there needs to be one, strictly speaking. The stories of the heroines are already interesting enough. I guess time will tell. Thank you for the hard work!
