The image will have two characters... And this one is not the main one... :-)
I did the sculpt today,it was quite long. Diamond and Kryptonite Patrons will get the sculpt process of this. (the first minutes of the sculpt are missing, a problem with the recorder, I guess....)

It could also be inspired by "Shredder" from TMNT or M.D. Geist..
And here we go, spam alert, haha. Guyver, Gundam, Casshern, Ghost in the Shell, Patlabor, Neon Genesis? It's not the robot from Castle in the Sky, is it? Gee... there are soooooo many and I am not sure how close or loosely it's inspired. Could be Macross, or even Mega Man (Rockman) or Astroboy inspired too... :s

Not sure. My guess is the reference is ReBoot, that old 90s digitally animated cartoon. The aesthetic is reminiscent.

I'm glad non-humans are now a voting option. My favorite color and a husband for the robot in Metropolis. But I think this guy might have been inspired by Robocop. Can motorcycle gang werewolves be next?
