Pepper: Rgh!
Pepper jumps a great distance into the smoldering flames. The entire eastern side of the jungle is on fire. Bit of ash and debris kick up into the air. After only a moment, Paddy loses sight of Pepper as a curtain of fire and charred vegetation blocks her view.
I was working on this during my vacation with some of the free time I got but wasn't able to finish it. It got to a stage of the drawing where my brushstrokes just didn't show up on my canvas whenever I painted. I don't know why my tablet couldn't handle the file; the size wasn't even that big. So, I thought I'd just finish it when I got back and now here we are 🙃.

Yeah, I was kinda debating whether or not I should put that in. Like you, I also like details to be crisp. But I really wanted to indicate fast motion with the hands and as long as the blur isn't overused, I think it helps enhance the overall piece

I like the blur effect on the hands. Usually, I don't like it cuz I want crisper details on a drawing, but the blur kinda gives it a three-dimensional effect 🙃
