Do you add the word balloons at the end, or sketch them in earlier? Because if you can add them already at the sketch stage maybe you can avoid the 'no space' problem. (Otherwise your lettering is great - clear font, consistent placement of text within balloon, no overlong or crossed tails, sans-serif "i"s used appropriately. All good!) -BM

Thanks. Well, maybe. But formally, I try to keep the order of the bubbles (from left to right, from top to bottom). Unfortunately there is not enough space to place them properly(

Lovely work as always Flick, nice to see you having fun with these characters. Am I the only one that got confused by the word balloon order in the first panel? I read it like this: <a href="https://i.imgur.com/FoAaNlp.jpg" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://i.imgur.com/FoAaNlp.jpg</a> Playing around with the balloons I got a more 'natural' feeling order (i.e. left to right and top to bottom) like this: <a href="https://i.imgur.com/4hw8qBo.jpg" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://i.imgur.com/4hw8qBo.jpg</a> I know I'm overthinking this but I read comics so that goes with the territory. ;) -BM
