Announcement and a preview

Hello dear patrons,
I wanted to make a kind of announcement.
I don’t talk often about my personal life, except when it affects my work for you.
Five years ago, we had planned with my husband to leave Paris and live in the countryside.
That project ended when my husband passed away more than two years ago now.
I thought about it a lot and last year, I rebooted the whole project.
After months of searching, I found a charming little house and now, I have to start its renovation.
I hired people to do the work, but there were, and still are, so many things I have to prepare for this, besides my Albron work.
I tried to make this invisible for you but it’s a lot of work.
The renovation of the house will start in few weeks and will last at least 3 months.
Of course, I will continue to do my Albron work during that time, but I know I’ll be busier than usual. I know it will affect my productivity.
I prefer to tell you this now and be totally transparent with you.
It was a heavy project even when we were two… So, doing this alone, I know it’s gonna be something…
I'll give you some updates if you want...
I’m impatient that everything is finished. I can’t wait to settle down there.
It will be a new start for me, and I know I need this.
So, thank you for your support.

Best of luck with the renovation. As you can see, your patrons definitely understand that you've got a life beyond us and we shouldn't be your highest priority. We just want to support your work. And I'm sure if you feel at some point like you need to put things on pause for a month or 2, we'd understand that, too. (I've seen other artists do that, and it seems most fair to you if keeping up with Patreon gets overwhelming.)

We just bought a home here in Chicago and while it’s not a full renovation, there have been a lot of little projects to make it our own, and it IS a lot of work, but it’s SO worth it!
