As a 3D animator, I can't agree with your point of view ;) But it's your art and you do what you please with it. I'm just not sure I want to keep supporting if it becomes something regular.

Personally, I'm not a fan of AI generated anything. It's all iterative and even if it's your art that it's manipulating, it's using its programming that's based on other people's work to 'create' this animation. The disappearing shirt is also... distracting. I don't judge or begrudge you for doing what you want to do with your art. 100% support you doing what you want to do, but for me personally, it's not something I care to see.

Personally I don’t mind artists trying this out. You should know: The motion had to come from somewhere, just as “generated” images were sourced from somewhere too. There are tools that allow someone to use the motion of their own source video and then put their art over that, like an overlay. Otherwise, you are relying on the specific ai tool for sourcing the video-motion ethically. But again, I don’t mind you playing with this either way, since it is not your main way of working and it’s not the product you are selling. ❤️ (I am an animator, so I know what it means to spend a week keyframing 5 seconds of a character, which involved years of my training and practice, going into debt for animation school, and now ai companies can just take those keyframes and map another image onto it, and suddenly it’s someone else’s “animation”. But anyway this motion was probably sourced from videos)
