Once again suggesting the lovely Miep as a Pokémon. She can be combined with any of the other kitty suggestions that have been mentioned if you’d like, but Miep is a good kitty and likes to hide in every comic, so hiding in Tabula would work very well as a mythical Pokémon.

A psychic/ghost pokemon. Basically it's Schrödinger's cat. It's a cat Pokemon in a box, but it's also not. You could try to catch this Pokemon but you can only catch it 50% of the time. Even if you encounter it, there's no guarantee you'll catch it. You encounter it in the wild, you know he's in the box, you throw a pokeball at it but it does nothing. Why? You just threw a pokeball at an empty box. Did it escape? No, it's in the box. You throw another pokeball, this time it does work but it pops out then uses metal claw. You get pissed off and throw a Master ball at it. How did that not work. Again, the box is empty and you just wasted a Master ball. The box opens up and the cat pops out with a smug look on its face. 😏

Since I submitted a D&D idea for the box art legendaries, and the theme of this region seems to kinda be split between D&D and Greek myth, I’ll submit a Greek myth idea for the mythical. My favorite mythicals are the little guys, so my idea is that you could make a Fairy-type Pokémon based on Pandora’s box. In the myth it’s actually a jar, so you could make it a little jar with a little angel-type creature poking out. And if you want, since the myth involves the jar either letting out curses or blessings upon opening, you could give it two alternate forms for if the jar is opened: A Fairy/Dark-type form where the little character is out of the jar and surrounded by curses, and a Fairy/Psychic-type form where its out of the jar and surrounded by blessings. I know I’m a little vague in the visual descriptions, but I feel like it opens up some creativity.
