Hm, that's interesting - I've had folks who are a part of that community say to me they feel Drag Race does kindof appropriate that language and kinda commercialise it? But I definitely could have made that clearer and not just included it as a throwaway gag as if it was that simple - so fair cop, thank you!

King, I liked this video, but one of the comments you made doesn't sit with me well. It is ahistorical and strange to assert that drag race "appropriates" ball culture... they are very much intertwined. It's hurtful that you would use your platform to make an unwarranted/incorrect comment like that against a show that is so meaningful to the queer community.
