Crystallized wasn't horrible horrible, I actually liked their focus on certain characters in that season, and how everyone acted (ESPECIALLY WU GARMADON AND LLOYD, actually) but man DR... DR My beloved.

@winglox the point of this is to focus on new things and not draw much attention to old things. They can make references to them but that'll defeat the point of the whole show. They used Crystalized to finalise the old stuff.

I mean, i think dragon rising is pretty good, except for part 2's ending felt rushed.

I'm not a big fan of the new feel, the structure of the story is very flawed, the pacing isn't good, I don't particularly like the new main characters. I do however like that they're setting up for future seasons. Also I'm worried they'll be too focused on the new setting, story and characters that they'll just forget the old things.

Btw it's not ever said in season 1 but it's assumed the present day takes place 3-5 years after the merge making it the biggest time jump in the series. All the ninja would be somewhere in their 20s now. Also not sure how long in between the crystalised ending and the merge is, probs a few months
