🕑 Added 2023-03-27 04:50:54 +0000 UTCWoke up this morning. D.I.D and all existing backups have all corrupted. Spent hours this morning in a panic trying hard to restore anything I could.
Basically all gone.
im fuckin depressed so not gonna do any more renders for the rest of the month, see you guys in april i guess.
Im not cancelling d.i.d. The project means way too much to me to abandon it, but im not exactly peachy to fucking start from scratch either.

I actually kind of relate to that my home burned down New Year’s Eve 2021 I was ready to accept death I would not be here if my dad didn’t come to my rescue also not too long ago I was writing a book and I deleted it and had to start over

Damn... That really sucks. If it's any consolation, it's always a lot faster redoing something than it is doing it the first time. Still a terrible situation though.

Oh no....it's a game designers worst nightmare, and I'm gutted to hear this happened to you. It's a loss unlike any other. Take all the time you need to be away from things to do what you need to do. I'm happy to hear that you're not giving up on the project either though. But for now, feel what you need to feel, and come back when you're ready Stay strong <3
