I feel people are generally split on the Pokemon movies, people love them, hate them, like some way more than others etc. Every movie feels like it's either someone's favourite or least favourite, such as M1, 3 , 14-19 etc. The Advanced and DP movies are generally the most popular, though

So part of the reason Team Rocket only had cameos in M15 was because, during this time in the BW anime, they actually got serious, cool, and competent. I’m not kidding…they even wore black versions of their uniforms and stopped their usual blasting off/goofy shenanigans. They also have some 5head moments. You’d actually probably like them because they only show up to further plot lol.

M17 and M18 are the XY era movies so yeah I guess it would make sense. Though M18 especially is honestly garbage but you can still watch it if you want. I really like M19 personally but that’s during XYZ so you have to wait a bit for that. Have a good rest of your night C Bloom
