I have to say, I'm deeply disappointed that your post wasn't titled "Taking stock." I can't heap enough praise on your wife, however. Her artwork continues to impress me and really gives the game its own distinct aesthetic.

Oh, after selecting Sortie you are blindly assigning points as there is no indication what the four numbers mean. ie, there's no cavalry, archer, scout, or infantry listed.

After the intro all text disappears other than the menu and battle descriptions. Still have no idea what I'm doing so my reputation plummets as I lose 80% of the battles. No option to buy things from either the armoury (can't get a third token) or the Curio shop (click on it and nothing happens). Can't train myself. Can talk to Vanora as much as I want, making her do menial tasks, stop training, etc.
