Oh my god! I almost had a heart attack this week. The day after my last build update, I moved my laptop to my desk and was about to start working. I was all set to start finishing up the build when my computer just shut down in a very weird way and would not boot up again!
I back up my projects after every build but this was literally right before the next build and I hadn’t backed up a bunch of other stuff on there that really needed to be but that I never got around to it.
I eventually found out that it had simply been badly plugged the previous night and was out of power. After leaving it plugged for a while, it finally booted up like normal and I could breathe again. I spent the rest of the day not only backing up my stuff but then doing the communal computer and then making my lovely wife do her own work computer. Lol.
Consider this your alarm bell! If you’re like me and procrastinate on backing up important things, do it now! You will most likely thank me in the future for it. ^_^
Now, on to the game! I am finally done! That’s saying it quickly, though. I could still work on it for months as there’s always things I would like to add or move around but it’s at a great place right now. I changed some numbers around to remove some of the grind while not making it too easy and I added music and sounds to make it a more finished product.
Overall, I can say I am proud of my new baby. I’d like you guys to give it a thorough playthrough and report your thoughts to me if you would. Especially if you find some bugs. I am pretty sure I found them all but there’s always some hidden in the corners.
I am now going to take a few days off and then I’m going to start looking at “News desk - gold edition”. Next month, I am going to see if there’s things to fix on this game before trying to put it on Steam! Exciting times. ^_^

The deets:
- Added the music.
- Added sounds.
- Added audio volume control.
- Balance the audio.
- Update credits with songs.
- Added the gallery.
- Added the raid info to the help screen.
- When doing something that removes actions points immediately, I made it give a fail warning if it would drop you below the earmarked actions for that turn so as to not screw your battles.
- Adjusted gains and losses.
- Adjusted some prices.
- Added the missing button graphics.
- Added buttons to the main screens.
- Added new CG (Harmony ending - Takgore)
- Added new CG (Harmony ending - Hugar)
This was an exhausting month but I am glad with how it turned out. I’m going to rest for a while now before coming back to play with my old games again.

Unfortunately in the 1.0 version the game is almost impossible to navigate properly in mobile. Taps either won't register and menus close and if you try to use 2 fingers you will constantly open the index

Thank you so much for catching that! When I read your comment, I assumed you were mistaken but turns out that when I was doing changes to the game, I seem to have forgotten to change the formula in the end panel. I'll have the new build out soon.

There seems to be a mix up in the bathhouse and theatre upgrade paths, where the x.1 gets both of the negative effects, and the x.2 gets both of the positive effects. I was so confused why my money started evaporating after I invested in generating it until I did some testing.

Good idea regarding Steam, but remember when you put your game up for sale there, you need to be able to handle the criticism and ratings that comes along with it, good or bad. In here, in this walled garden, we are a bit more like a community, Itch doesn't count. :) One thing I would personally recomend you before putting your game on steam, is making the game playable with a maximised window screen instead of only windowed screen or full screen. Success on steam is easier when a project feels more polished, otherwise good or not... and see if you can get it translated to a few other languages, especially asian ones and French since their english skills are... ... ...well, unique! ^ . ^ 'Lyk' might help with a Russian translation, but I am unsure how willing Russians are to pay instead of pirating.
