We live in a time where it can feel scary to be different. Populism, authoritarianism, and conformity are rising again—different than in the 80s, but carrying the same heavy shadows. Sometimes, in moments like these, it can feel like the world is out to get us. I truly believe this will pass, that things will get better—but that doesn’t make the present moment any less difficult. 🕯️💭
So here’s the question I want to ask my beloved community: what kinds of stories do you need from me right now? 🌈🧸
Do you want full escapism—stories that let you run far away from the stress of the world and sink into soft, magical comfort? 🌟
Or do you want pieces that carry a more serious tone, stories and poems that connect to the moment we’re living in, so we can recognize we’re not alone, and that we are a community? 🤝
Or something in between—like Mother’s Orders, which reflects our current fears and struggles through a slightly more distant, dystopian lens? 🏥📖
I know this is heavier than my usual posts, and I don’t want this space to feel overwhelming—but we do live in a serious world. More than anything, I want to give you the type of art and stories you’re craving right now. 🌸💌 Please let me know what you feel you need most—I want to be here for you, to help take care of you, and to create the right kind of magic for this community. ✨

I like both! It's really nice having a safe, snuggly place to visit when we're feeling sad or scared or we just need a warm hug. It's also really nice seeing others and being seen and bringing a bit of sunshine to those sad or scary places! Like for example I really liked the conclusion of the Diaper Maid story! The protagonist gets the safe and structured world he loves, but they also help another poor soul who would wilt in that environment! And in the end everyone ends up getting what they want! ✨
