Chapter 40 is almost done...

Technically the chapter is done unless I go back and change things again, which, there's a strong chance of me doing that. The next chapter (41) gets a bit messy because there's so much shit happening that I have to catch up on.
Writing with this many characters is a huge challenge/pain in the ass.
If the issue doesn't make it this month, you'll get two chapters next month before I go on my holiday break from writing. As I've warned before, writing content ceases during the months of November and December as my offline world job is a slog during the holiday, and I cannot afford the extra time.
Both chapters are in excess of 12 pages already, so that's quite a bit more than my 5-6 page minimum. Plus there was that chapter 31 a few months back that was 21 god damn pages. So hopefully nobody feels robbed of anything if they stay subscribed despite the lack of content for the Wanderer tier.

i agree with marcus, i personally only have a investment in zuzen and violet getting gurgled by the new girl, meanwhile the kids feel like they cant go two feet without getting into a close call as silly as that is but yeah i liked both versions of the story so far and if you need more time to figure out where the story is going then take that time.

Take all the time you need! I’ll look forward to none the less. You have quite a few characters between the main group, violet and zuzen, Diana, and the vault people so I understand how that would be a lot too manage. If writing so many characters is a challenge then maybe a few of them could get gurgled if it will make it easier for you. So far we’ve had 1 casualty and lot of close calls. Regardless of what you decide I’ll still be a fan of the story.
