Wow. Your world-building is out of this world

Greg Hancock

If you go and check out the blog and look for Laocoon you see that happening to the male hero figure there, is REALLY cool and the artwork is excellent as always. Hope David uses that theme a lot more in future works.

Greg Hancock

Was cool seeing him with a few hunky friends, and could be something could go back to as Harry changes and then goes and gets his friends...… who knows

Greg Hancock

Would working Laocoon into this be an option, look back and then forward to Harry's time???

Rob Kottenbrock

I'm imagining the animation.... mmmmmmmm

I hope the tentacles secrete fluid that enlongate the cock and swell the testicles

Priapus of Milet

Yes, It's that same one and in this chapter he is glad he found it, for he recognizes it form the manuscript, so knows he' s at the right place. I wanted to do something different in chapter 3, so we traveled back in time, to the younger Harry as a student and well, then you're not on you'r own. So I added a few students to have a bit of fun with.

Hi again! it's inner sanctum 3 revelations parallel lives. That one got me excited but confused a bit, cuz in all other stories in the arc is just Harry by himself.

Hi! I remember you had a project somewhere that's very similar to the relief that has 12 figures on, it's about a young Harry and his friends(not as statues), and it's probably in the whole genisis-temple-ad fundum-inner sanctum story arc. May I ask where about it is and would you consider continuing that story? Your works are so amazing and realistic that I feel unreal XD

Priapus of Milet

Thanks Sunnie! Glad you like the series and I'll keep that in mind.

Sunnie Chiang

Well done! These are masterpieces and I enjoy looking at each one of them. I hope u still remember I like the idea of big guy vs small guys. Maybe you can think of Harry being surrounded and captured by a group of small people as he keep exploring into the deep of temple. Keep on the good work!

Priapus of Milet

Yes, you're tight, I know what you mean. They do indeed resemble the carvings I have seen in a museum, in Paris, if I remember well. I think they're called a cameo.

Michael

These "haut-reliefs" (sorry I don't have the word in English) remind me of famous Roman "camés" (again). I wish I had to learn these in my history of art courses.

Priapus of Milet

Ah, yeas, that's an interesting idea! Perhaps something to combine when Harry reaches the inner core of the temple. That should reveal the origin of the temple as well. Thanks!

Anis

i hope u can expand the story and bring us back to how the temples were built by whom...it like the story of Prometheus.....some bigger than us humans.

Priapus of Milet

That sound as a great way to put it and yes, without the text everyone can interpret the story in his own way and add his own fantasies. And by the way, I don't think it would look nice to insert those text balloons into these images ;o)

Joël

This is exactly what I think. Harry is like a mythological character, everyone rebuilds the hero according to his desires. That's why I like the fact that you make stories without words, it makes them more universal.

Priapus of Milet

Yes, perhaps the chronological inconsistencies and gaps leave more room for the the imagination of the viewer and leaves us puzzling how it all might fit together in the end. And it gives me more liberty to jump in at any moment of time and place ;o)

Joël

Over time, you have created different strata around Harry: science fiction, heroic fantasy, something from "Resident Evil" and even a good dose of Freudianism (the theme of the double/multiple and of course the inevitable « snakes »). Like the piling up of legends of mythological Hercules, it is difficult to combine his adventures into a coherent narrative, but that's also what makes this new Alcide so interesting. Alright even if you talk about an episode 6 conclusive, I'm sure we will have the pleasure of finding the boiling Harry in other adventures and other worlds, you have the imagination fertile.

Priapus of Milet

Thanks! :O)

Wooof Great a Work

Priapus of Milet

Thanks Joël, Yes, that order of events seems to be working as well and gives another interesting sequence of events! It looks like several different combinations are possible, so that gives me more freedom for chapter 6 ;o)

Joël

I forget one : "Revelations", "Metamorphoses", "The Inner Sanctum" and "The Antechamber" for the second story.

Joël

Hi. I would have grouped "Genesis", "The Temple", "Ad Fundum" and "Inner Ring" as a complete story. And "Revelations", "Metamorphoses" and "The Antechamber" (in this order) as the beginning of a parallel story. But I do not know how you plan to finish chapter 5, or what you have in mind for chapter 6. Congratulations again for the quality of your work. Good week.
