Dangit Jess, you made me cry! 😭 For real though, that was a wonderfully open and bare conversation. As an ADHD dad with an ADHD kid, you absolutely hit the nail on the head when you said that brains like us have very unique challenges when it comes to parenting. The description of being a parent as "having your heart on the outside of your body" is one I have used for years, because it really is the only way to explain the feeling. And ultra kudos to you for setting healthy boundaries for/about your family - as much as the community would love to see more of Baby Dragon, you are WELL within your rights to protect her privacy. You have been such a significant and constant source of inspiration for me on my own ADHD journey, so it's amazing to see you start this new journey with your family! (And as another parent-Brain that relies on anti-D meds, that "sad vs depressed" exchange between you and your partner was eerily familiar!)
