Install missing nodes using the ComfyUI manager
All of the nodes will show up in the missing nodes section except for two. You can install these by using the "Install via Git URL" in the ComfyUI manager
SkipLayerForward: https://github.com/lodestone-rock/ComfyUI_FluxMod
ComfyUI-ppm: https://github.com/pamparamm/ComfyUI-ppm
To get more sampler options (ays+), install the "ComfyUI-ppm" node pack in the ComfyUI manager.
Use keyboard shortcuts (0,1,2,3) to navigate between sections
Select your desired mode in the Mode Selector node
Generate and refine your images

π‘ Important Notes:
Make sure your ComfyUI is running version 0.3.27
(version 0.3.30 has bugs as of 4/30/25)To downgrade your ComfyUI version, open a command prompt window in your ComfyUI_portable folder and run this command: git checkout v0.3.27
Use the linked ComfyUI-Inpaint-CropAndStitch node if you receive an OLD warning.
You can download missing nodes and models using the ComfyUI Manager
Make sure to download the ComfyUI-42lux.zip file attached to this post and extract it to your ComfyUI/custom_nodes folder. The node developer removed a set of nodes from Github and if you're still missing nodes, this pack should resolve this issue.

Happy to help with this! My initial thoughts are that the connections may be disconnected which was a bug in the latest ComfyUI version. Can you try downgrading to an earlier version like 3.27 and see if that causes issues still? Also can you link your patreon and discord so you get access to the priority-support channel which is where we can troubleshoot further.

Hey Eric, the April update was made to address some issues with the newer node version and comfyui breaking some of the logic mappings. Since then, another ComfyUI update broke the mappings again which is why the git checkout command is needed to ensure compatability. I'll have to look deeper into this issue for a fix, but in the meantime I'd recommend using the march update if that's the version that's working on your ComfyUI setup. The older nodes for inpainting actually can produce better results at times while the newer version is a bit more experimental.

Hello! When I tried to run the Git command to revert to the older version in my portable comfyui folder, i get this error: fatal: not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git Also, when I use mode 3 using the April update workflow, the inpaint area remains inactive. This doesn't happen in the March update version? Any ideas? thanks!
