Thanks for sharing, David! At 63 I'm "a bit late to the party" since I've only recently poked my head up out of my hidey-hole to discover I am not alone in this bewildering mental landscape (aspie + adhd + dyslexia). Just this year I began unlearning some sub-optimal (read "pitiful") coping strategies and may seek professional help soon with the new benefits package at work (I'm a solutions architect currently doing a 10-year gig as a systems [and automation] engineer). Sadly, all experience is microsoft and cisco - I drank the kool-aid. So - I never suspected that PDA was a real "thing" with a name and everything - it (among other issues) just feels like I'm defective, really. Yep - many more baby steps needed under my ad-hoc unlearning regimen... tldr : AI is the last (professional) frontier for me - it gives every indication that it is where all the fun will be, so I'm leveling up as quickly as possible and, as I do so, I very much look forward to digesting more of your insights in this area. Glad to meet you! :-)

I listen to the Coffee with Butterscotch comedy game dev Podcast. All three brothers that run the thing have ADHD. They are such great personalities. As for me I have to pack everything up next month because I'm leaving my childhood home soon. Going to be renting a room because it's too expensive here in California to live alone.

I have ADHD and take methylphenidate.

Nice desk!!
