Sometimes it's a bit of both. The terror of the herd mentality is taking over for some and they feel overwhelmed, FOMO, etc. Fear and cluelessness often go hand in hand. That's why I use the surfing analogy. It's a big wave so you can either get creamed by it or get on top of it use the energy.

When I watch the Federal Reserve Chairman talking about interest rate cuts & labor market data it’s like they have these big blinders on regarding AI and it’s effect on ALL of this. Either they are sh*++ing in their expensive slacks in private or utterly clueless. What do you folks think?

I googled it for you: Managed Services Providers. Managed services is the practice of outsourcing the responsibility for maintaining, and anticipating need for, a range of processes and functions, ostensibly for the purpose of improved operations and reduced budgetary expenditures through the reduction of directly-employed staff. It is an alternative to the break/fix or on-demand outsourcing model where the service provider performs on-demand services and bills the customer only for the work done.

Because adapting AI into a business may be a difficult task, especially when you are trying to convince everyone in C-suite and board, I feel that solo entrepreneurs who can quickly adapt and differentiate themselves from laggers can have a huge leverage in this situation. Much more so than they have ever before due to power of automation and AI.

Did you see in the EU AI Act they propose forbidding categorizing, scoring or ranking human behavior? Likely a backlash of China's social ranking system. Health insurance companies have been using BMI in their premium calculations for 20 years!
