Digital Art Collab with Hypercaustic
🕑 Added 2021-06-05 19:46:00 +0000 UTCDigital artist Yu Xiang, aka Hypercaustic, created his own versions of my photos with models Andrew and Ryan, which I then used to collage together with the original photos. I love creating nude art that can push the boundaries of what is considered acceptable in online platforms. Why, as a culture, must we constantly draw an arbitrary line between what is artistic and what is erotic?
You can find more of Yu's work on his instagram page.

I think it is because we are dishonest about our needs. No where more so than when we are looking at our sexual needs. Because we constrain them in ourselves inevitably, we seek to constrain them in others. The online sphere is very much around profit and income. We have commodified things to such an extent whereby classical statuary like Greek heroes & cherubs etc are considered art suitable for public viewing. In almost all other circumstances the male frontal nude is pornography to be hidden away to be enjoyed alone.
