I've been ridiculously focused(more like deaf to the world) for the last week or so. Been doing some research for a new mechanism which we might be using in book 4 and not even the coder knows about!
I'm hoping to get a proof of concept ready for him to look at once he has time, but it has been such an ordeal to get it working there were(and still are) moments when I just want to print out the code so I can see it burn.
Did you know when you copy a list, it's elements keep referring to the original data? Did you know when you figure out how to fix that and you nest arrays, all the horror starts again from the start?
I know... Oh I yes, NOW I know and.....
Yeah, those are probably major rookie mistakes, but that's what I am. Also, it would probably be a lot easier if I were the kind of person who'd ask for help if he needs some.... I really suck at asking for help though.
Anyway, the really funny thing is when I was pondering why things can't just work I heard the following song.

I pretty much let youtube decide what I listen to for long stretches of time and most of the time it's just white noise but this time I actually heard the words.
Well, I'm actually getting some good results, but it's a typical inching-your-way-forwards kind of situation so yeah .... God I hope the coder will like it...

We have a solid understanding of what went wrong, but it's difficult to retroactively fix. We think we might be able to in a new build, but it's going to be a tricky thing. Still pondering what the best course of action is, but at least we have an idea . If that won't work we'll probably add a clean savegame file as a download with instructions so people at least won't have to play again from the beginning.

I often have really weird mistakes like misplaced heads and parts rotating which shouldn't while making scenes. Sometimes absolutely hilarious, but mostly just annoying :)

I can't even, checking all the art and I press on the cabage cart gif. It looks like his legs are rotating. this is so amazing that I can't unsee it.
Links from the Art assets from 28 and below are not working. Would be great if you could reupload them or give us a bulk file 1-28 or smth.
Is there a way to get the older art assets? Love the work keep it up.
