To my knowledge it's just the two people doing this. That's a lot to do for each person, so they likely could benefit from another pair of hands. That being said, finding decent people in this field is tentative at best.

Maybe I've just been around patreon and devs so often I tend to let stuff slide. Shit happens. If This Were a developer that released subpar updates often, I would probably start getting upset. But this is one of the very few devs that has consistently released good updates, so I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Patience only goes as far as to what you are to expect. If im told updates once a month, and im paying for updates once a month, i expect updates once a month. I very much appreciate the communication cause sometimes things go wrong, but thats not the issue here, nothing went wrong, they just put to much on their plate at once. If they want to do that, they should indeed extend their lead times for us all to know from this point forward updates will take longer, instead of saying "soon" every 2 weeks. It's that reason alone why we're all feeling testy.

Wow. People are being so impatient. For a game of this quality to update once a month is phenomenal. I've advocated many times that they should change the update schedule to once every two months instead. So they can add in even more and not have to rush stuff at the end of every month. At least they're communicating as well. Many devs just go radio silent for weeks on end expecting you to just wait. At least they usually post and talk once a week. There are way worse games with much worse update systems. Be happy that these devs care to put out a good product. Despite all the complaining children here.

On average 4 elements takes about 1 month and 1 week to put out a new update. versus other games that make just as much money or more than this one and take 3-5 months with much shorter patches than 4 elements. 4 elements consistently puts out the fastest updates/patches of any game I have seen of this caliber and have the best customer service of any game I have seen of this caliber. That is why I continue to support them.

it is perfectly reasonable to be upset when you are paying for something that is said to be out once a month. If they don't think they can do once a month they should remove that. This is not about being spoiled, this is about expecting the creator to follow the plans that you agreed to pay for.

Well I think at this point no one will be mad, if you download early versions from other websites. I considered it myself because as you said we pay for "monthly updates". I mean things don't always go as planed no harm done but every goddam month... like come on...

I wish you guys would stop whining about this. Most games like this have an update once every 3-4 months it hasn't even been a full 2months since the last update and you guys are acting like the world is ending. I swear you guys are beyond spoiled. Try making a game and see how long it takes you. Shit happens sometimes you are gonna have to wait a bit longer. So just chill out and wait.
