FET v1.0.7c - early access - Today was not a fun day
🕑 Added 2024-01-31 22:53:00 +0000 UTCHey all! I finally have a new FET build ready for you. It's been a while since I released a real FET build. There was an 18Titans build, a Halloween build and my break in between the last build and this one. Despite the time in between it's still basically a one month build with some extras. It's the start of a new route(selfish epilogue) and shares a lot of elements with the book 4 love route. That's only at the start since I do plan to deviate from that in the future, but for now please set your expectations to something familiar.
I've finally made a start with adding a gallery function. Currently you can only see it if you've finished the main story and it can be found as an option in the main menu. It's not finished yet. Not by a long shot! But so far it has the book 1 love route scenes.
The epilogue can be reached by finishing book 4's route or if you've already finished the main story once before, you can use the shortcut.
The shortcut can accessed by starting a new game. When the spirit tells you to visit the water tribe, you can see a yin yang symbol on the world screen(ONLY if you've finished FET before).
Picking the black teardrop) will take you directly to the selfish epilogue. The white part doesn't work yet, because that caused a bunch of bugs which I'll have to sort out first. I disabled it for now.
Picking the combined yin yang symbol will take you to the end of the story(which takes place before the epilogue)
ps. there's a super secret invisible shortcut which can be reached when clicking in the middle of the world screen on the mountain range, but only when you start a new game and the spirit tells you to visit the water tribe first... That won't show you the epilogue shortcuts, but will take you to the end.
Initially it wasn't easy to shift to the non love attitude again after having worked on the love route and other things for so long! But now that I've gotten used to it again, it has become fun once more (though the love route does have my preference, very much so I have to admit.)
I'm very late this month. I tend to toe the line with dates, but this time extra much so! Long story short, things broke down after working on the earlier released bughunt version for a few days. It was an ongoing parade of bugs which I couldn't fix. I'm still not certain how I managed to do that. In the end I had to revert back to the bughunt version and lost a lot of precious time. That's the simplified version of the story because a lot more went awry than that. Anyway, I somehow managed to fix it all again but today wasn't a fun day... not at all.
--- BUGHUNTERS! Thanks a bunch for your messages, both in the comments and in my dm's. I've done a lot more than you'll be able to see in the early access build, but that's because I messed up somewhere along the way and had to redo a lot in the time I still had left. But I do think I managed to fix all the bugs you mentioned and a few I discovered myself. As for differences between this and the bughunt version: I added some dialogue and some new images. For example, you can see Katara and Korra walk around when you visit the training area if you made them go for a lap around the compound, but that's more or less it when it comes to "bigger" things. ---
There's a good chance there will still be bugs and other nick knacks in this build. Okay, so what's inside this build? You get to train with Korra in an effort to regain her mobility. You can do some soft massaging of her boobies and she can shake them herself. She'll give you a hand job. Katara will also be there and provide a bj and missionary vaginal scene with a small change. Oh and you can also massage her boobies. Kya will be able to be peeked at as she massages her own boobies and masturbates during the night while fantasizing about girls. There's a book with some new pics of P'li. Tenzin will stay for a short time and after he leaves, Ikki will arrive. That's about it. Like I said it's very much the start of a new route and has a lot of overlap with bk4 love... which will slowly change throughout.
Oh, and there's some of the stuff in other routes. The elder council have added options. I added Izumi and Katara's ghost mom to the bonfire love epilogue. Nami's blowjob during book 1 has higher res pics. A lot of heads(next to dialogue) are higher res and I did quite a bit more all over the place but didn't keep a proper log of what I did and can't remember most of it. Then again a lot of it isn't really worth mentioning by itself such as bugs and small dialogue changes. In fact I think I've taken a bit too much of a "scattershot" approach at the cost of the epilogue part. I intend to focus more on the new parts of the build in future releases.

Excited to finally get this, but it'll be a while before I can since I lost my Slave Saves some time ago :( I'm just replaying book 1 now and got to thinking: have we ever thought to put in cheats for speeding up grinding? They could be unlocked after you've completed a playthrough even, like you have the access to epilogues setup. The thought came to be as it's extremely tedious to grind out the cash in book 1 to get everything from Nami's shop 😅

I took the liberty of unpacking and messing with the script a bit, and replacing bk4_bd (i think? I'm only writing this after changing it) with mys it "works" (though of course not as intended, but at least the lines show without running into errors)

same here. more specifically, it's a TypeError: 'int' object has no attribute '__getitem__' over and over again, from bk4_s_main.rpyc at lines 16535, 16539, 16570, 16571, 16573-5 and a bunch more up until 16662. I'm still not entirely clear why the bug occurred. I've been looking into it and doing some testing but from my point of view it shouldn't exist... which is the worst kind of bug to figure out. Android versions are always messing with me. I'll naturally keep looking, but I'll need an "aha!" moment for this one.

The location where you've unpacked the game has a folder called "game" with a folder called "saves" inside. Copy/pasting that last folder into your new installation will get you a couple of your save files. Most likely all your recent saves. And if that's enough for you, you can stop there. However there's a folder where the older ones are stored. In the following folder/location. C:\Users\example-user-name\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Avatar Harem-1467471742 Naturally the "example-user-name" should be yours. That one is more difficult to get to so try the easy method first and see what that'll get you.

I did this both ways (shortcut and from a slave finale with Jinora) and there was no dialogue changes or anything from Jinora remembering that I could see.

No, 100%. I don't love tedious minigames (Not that yours are, but some games have bad ones), but if you don't do at least SOMETHING to earn the sex scene, it's just kinda boring. Ember Island felt more like a showcase of your artistic talents and our various kinks than a game. Which, fair, it was an epilogue. Don't need to put too much thought in. But that makes Slave Route such a breath of fresh air. I can't wait to steal Jinora.

Just make certain you use a save made during book 4's slave route where she has done things to remember. Using a shortcut will cut-off stuff.

Upon further inspection, it may just be the save game screens that are smaller than they used to be. They are zoomed out in a similar way that windows is. The thumbnails are smaller

If you want to use shortcuts yes, Otherwise just reload a save file made during the book 4 slave route or end. Worst case scenario would be playing book 4 from the start, but that's why I placed the shortcuts.

My own save files are in shambles and I started to replay it myself to rebuild them. I can manually edit some save files. The starting build for the slave route is a pretty straight forward "you get what you see" kind of deal for now.

Dude this was such a good release. IDK what it is, maybe the ease with which you can get laid in the Love Epilogue, or maybe the Slave Route just has better humor or something, but god I've been missing this. I don't usually like the slave route over the love either, but this was a really good release.
