Stormy March, but things are looking better!

I haven't replied to individual messages because it feels weird to answer every single message with just "Thanks" again and again, but the kind words of support and understanding are great to read.
It's been a stormy March, but things are looking infinitely better than they did three weeks ago. My family member is doing well all things considered and though it's still slow going, I'm starting to regain a sense of normalcy again and enjoyment out of the creative process! I'm not even close to putting in the kind of hours that I normally would but that too should start increasing again.
As for FET I think I've now reached a state where I'd normally be with a new build about two weeks(?) ago. I had to undo stuff this week which I did earlier since it wasn't done in the best of mindsets and it showed, but I'm getting that special feeling again which I need to create.
I dislike not hitting the end of the month release time-frame (I dislike it sooo much), but that's exactly what's happening. I've reached a cut-off moment in the build where I don't want to add things and just work on what I've got. It would be a smaller build than normal, but it's not going to be ready for this month regardless of that. And I'd honestly still would kind of like to return to Titans again for April.
That means my current plan is to work on what I have for FET and once that's done in the first or second week of April to release it.
Not everyone might be in the opportunity to stick around as a patron or at their current tier level till then, so if you can't use:

to download the new build in April. It's an empty mega folder which I'll use to upload the new build to. That would be the early access release, but I'll create the same sort of link for The current Bughunters and upload another post tomorrow with the link and/or send them the link through a dm. Naturally all of the above won't be necessary if you're still at the same tier level in April. I'm just trying to make certain nobody has to feel disappointed if they aren't.
I'd like to write a normal "art update" post again in the future talking about dumb stuff like mice and/or movies/music/games or whatever peeked my interest lately, but there hasn't been a lot of that going on lately so it might take me a bit.
Long story short... Thanks for the kind words and I'm ready to return to (semi) normal again!

I'm having issues getting the story to continue during book 2 fire after ember island love rout. I'm on day 80 with 8k everything bought, nothing new from the tower, fought plenty of battles, nothing new with Ty Lee, 50 slaves, nothing new with iron, nothing with shady, azula is naked on the throne. Last scene I remember was kissing Mai but she still tells me to get out when I go to armory, did all options with ally girl, and the guard captain, guards are having private party.

Thanks NiB, it's the thought which counts and I'm well aware of how words can feel like such clumsy tools sometimes. So whenever I don't hear from someone I never just assume they didn't care or anything. The last few weeks I had to talk to a lot of people irl and having to tell/hear the same thing again. However working on the games gives me joy and diversion and sticking to dates makes the autist within me happy :)

Ah! Right you are, but I've discovered the best way to deal with that specific problem! I've hooked up three different mice to a usb hub and am switching between them throughout the day. So far it works great!

I wanted to say something when this got posted, but I couldn't really think of anything that doesn't just equate to "That's rough buddy, Take as long as you need". I still can't think of what to say if I'm honest, but it just feels weird not saying anything. If you feel like you need 2 months in between updates, that's fine. I'm honestly surprised you still try to keep in the 1 month deadline, given how big the game has gotten. If real life shit gets in the way, just let us know something happened, and we'll understand. I'm happy to hear things are finally looking up for you though, and wanted to say something.

By all means you are foing great work and I'm hoping you do return to normalcy and I commend you for making the link available for ppl that can't stay around, I just have 1 question though, will there be a gallery update for both games for ppl that finished them and want to go back and view them again? I know you started them in 18titans for one off scenes but once Terra is gone you can't replay those other than going back to a save

I had to remove links to an old filehost and replaced those with the local patreon attachments for now. Perhaps that's what giving you problems. If you haven't tried the alt links yet, give those a try.

Well, my first reaction was... I'll completely have forgotten what I was doing if I leave two months between working on either FET or Titans : ) !y Generally speaking I can get by with the time I have and though I put in a lot of hours, it's hours I enjoy so I'm not burning out. It's just that when serious stuff happens there's not much room(if any) to play catch up.

I'm glad your family member is doing better but please take some time to look after yourself, you deserve it after all of your hard work. Also I had an idea that I wanted to run by you in regards to your upload schedule. Have you ever thought about moving to a three month loop? For example month 1: FET, month 2: Titans, month 3: art update (maybe a portrait or a gif or something). This would give you a reduced workload and less of a deadline in month 3 allowing you to either continue working on Titans or start working on FET earlier or even just taking a break for a month. I believe this would really help you with a better work life balance and as a result create an even better product (even though your games are already awesome) and even create more complex systems that may be too much of a stretch for one months work. if your not sure about it run it by the community to see what they think, I think it could be a really good way of removing some of the crunch mindset that I know we all suffer from.

Take your time. The healing process (both physical and mental) takes more than a day (as everyone knows). I wish you and your loved ones the beast and know that I will stay Tier 4 for as long as I can (regular updates or not). Just realized that this message sounds really sappy, but I mean every word.
