Leaking Content Issue.
🕑 Added 2024-05-02 23:43:49 +0000 UTCIts come to our attention that someone has been leaking our patreon posts, we rely on patreon supporters to help pay our rent and food costs.
We always post the content from patreon anyway so why leak it? Its such a rude thing to do.
Please please don't leak our content, outside of it just being rude, its content for our games that contains spoilers and sneak peaks that are just for supporters, and by leaking this content we lose potential supporters that we need to help us make MORE content.
A big reason we cant work on games and fun extra art is because we have to do commission work to support ourselves, if we had more supporters on patreon we would have to take less commissions and have more time to work on more projects and extra art but that is not the reality at the moment and we really rely on this. Sharing our content loses us that support, so please dont leak our work.

Ohhhh okay. Well.... Unless this is something that's too difficult, the only other suggestion I can think of that might work is making the game exclusive to trusted members. You know, people you know well enough via Discord and whatnot? You could even have those you feel you can trust sign an agreement form or something similar where they have to give their word they won't leak any content, beta downloads, etc. But I don't know, I'm just tossing ideas here to try and help with the situation. Sorry if none of these are helping.

its not about people taking our product art, people are taking exclusive content or straight up beta game downloads and sharing those. cant watermark those when thats not the issue.

Gatobob was dealing with a similar issue for quite a while until she started watermarking her stuff. Maybe you could do that as well to protect your work?

That always fucking sucks!! Another channel on Patreon has the same problem. I hate it when people leak private content. It ruins the surprise and spoils the game. Not to mention it’s a terrible thing to do to the artists. I’m sorry that this is happening to you guys. I’ll support your pages the best way I can. And if I see any leaked content on any other platform, I’ll report it as stolen
