I think it’s both. The fantasy of the risk is very thrilling, without the true risk of conception. Some are turned on by consensual others by non-consensual. Many women are either not ready for motherhood or want to be child free for various reasons. (I’m child free for mental health reasons.) This type of fantasy gives women like me the thrill without that risk of the consequences of pregnancy and the life-long commitment to that child.

It’s mostly the rush for me, but the fantasy itself is also very appealing. I do NOT want kids (at least at this point in my life) but I guess it’s also something that stays on my mind.
