No problem, I hope my explanation goes some way towards explaining stuff. It's still a problem if you had the feeling that the enemies have it too easy. I'll rectify that in the future and include the opinions of the lords more.

There's a good reason for them turning traitor, which has been hinted at before. I'll be explaining this soon in upcoming chapters, but here goes: MINOR SPOILERS: First of all, Port Ulta is the place Mason attacks at the start of Book 3, so there's already bad blood. Also, before Corco and Atau come back with more food, they didn't have enough grain to feed everyone. Corco decided to prioritize certain estates, while others (the ones far away from Saniya he can't control right now) get nothing. Rather than starve to death, the lords around Port Ulta decide to let the foreigners and their food in. Though technically, the foreigners aren't in charge. Technically, Port Ulta etc become part of Pacha's central kingdom, just like how the estate north of Qarasi Castle became part of Corco's kingdom. So that way, the conservative lords don't have to live under foreign influence (though now they might not have a choice with dozens of heavily armed foreign ships right in their harbor). As for the lords in Pacha's army: They did complain a bit about Herak being put in charge, but they were mostly quiet because no one wanted to become the second Rupilo. Also remember that these lords are mostly the opportunists of the central kingdom, so they're not the most conservative. Lord Nasica is a better example of a conservative lord, and he directly opposes Pacha to help Corco during the war. Still, his actions will reflect negatively on Pacha's reputation and it will have an influence in future chapters.

Thank you for all the chapters as well! Sorry about the nitpick I was just missing the conservatives

Nice though I wonder where the conservative noble went throughout the foreigner Herak's campaign since he has been given free reign to do whatever (taking over the south and given a commander position with Pacha's army) with no protests nor consequences as of yet. Wasn't the south primarily conservative yet two nobles turned traitor? What? Seems like the villains are given a free pass just to give Corco a challenge.
