Just like ogres and so on, these are a kind of monster called "oni".
They have the same curious features found in other oni, but the horns on their head and their fluffy, big arms and legs are soft like a plush toy stuffed full of cotton. No matter the region there is a common story that is told by parents to children, "if you don't stop crying, an oni's gonna come kidnap you", but these girls are actually the source of such oral traditions, being said to appear before children who can't stop crying or those with deep sadness even in the absence of tears.
Upon spotting male prey that fits such criteria, they embrace their target tightly in their big, soft arms.

I love the design and description. However, I think it would make more sense if instead of an "oni" or a member of the Ogre Family it was the Teddy Bear sub-species of Living Doll. That would better explain the stitches, "stuffing", and heterogeneous skin tones. It just seem like it would be a much better fit. You keep the design and its love for "children" and its desire to dispel sadness (like how we would hold our stuff toys when we were sad). The idea that this species evolved off of Ogres on its own, with all of its features, just seems... odd, even by MGE standards.

Lots of questions. So she's like a stuffed toy, but actually flesh and blood at the same time? What about the stuffing falling out of her body? Is it just mana? Do the stitches go into her skin? Is she wearing gloves? Are her hands big and really have only 4 digits? Is she wearing a hat? Clever but strange concept, definitely was not expecting this! Basically what parts are clothing or covered in cloth?
