Progress Update
🕑 Added 2024-06-05 04:55:45 +0000 UTCHey, I'm sorry about the long radio silence- a particularly bad confluence of a family health crisis and extreme crunch time at my software dev job has monopolized pretty much all my energy for the past several weeks, along with a bit too much sleep time. Even so, I should have given you guys an update on the BG3 project before now. I guess I'd hoped to have something fun to show before doing that- but alas, nothing quite yet.
On the project, I've mostly completed a couple of new skins- one being a unique texture for Shadowheart- and I've also made progress on turning Shadowheart into a Tabaxi, though I'm still working though some technical hurdles on that. I'm also probably going to create a unique Tabaxi head model for Shadowheart to make her a bit more distinct from female Tabaxi players. Once those are complete, I'll send you guys a new update.
I've gotten a bit of a reprieve from the work thing now, if not yet the health thing, so I should have some time over the next week or so to focus on finishing that update. I'll also go through the replies here and answer questions tonight. Again, sorry for vanishing- next time, I'll try to let you guys know when things start to get crazy rather than leaving everyone wondering.

Will you be editing the foot model to move forward in the case of armor models u haven't specifically altered? That way even modded armors can be worn without the feet sticking behind the pants? Or something like that I guess.

Definitely. The faces are rigged using the same weights as the human faces, just distorted to match the feline shape, so the expressions transfer over decently well. I'm still working on tweaking those to improve the results (and struggling with a technical issue related to that), but I'm pretty confident that they'll look good in the final mod.

Welcome back and thanks for the update! I'm sure we're all happy to wait as long as you need. I'm interested in the new Shadowheart head model. One of the great things about the game is all the detailed mocap facial animation they did for the companions. Will the tabaxi model be able to capitalize on that?
