WORK PROCESS

In the last few days I have been asked many questions in the PM and in the comments about the progress of work on the update.
I apologize. Very much carried away by work and time quickly flies by.
I think it is worth explaining the whole scale of the update we are doing.
To speed up the release of the upcoming update, we have divided it into parts. Otherwise, you will have to wait a long time.
And so that will be included in version 2.0:
- City. New city structure. New buildings in the city. And the city will come to life.
- Farm. New farm structure. Additional buildings and functions. Additional products. Just revitalize the farm.
- Mine. The new structure of the mine. New buildings and facilities. Additional products. Mine will come to life.
- Spaceport. At this stage, it will be required in order to fulfill the condition for the construction of other objects (market, police, club). Later we will prepare a separate package for spaceport add-ons.
- Police station. Will work partially. Only in order for the new system of the colony to function correctly. For the police will be downloaded a separate package of additions.
- Intergalactic market. In addition to the normal market, we will add a market for trade in resources, colonists, products, objects, etc. between the colonies.
- Inventory. There will be a new function necessary for trading. It will be something like a warehouse where you will store all your products.
- Factory. Factories will appear on the farm and on the mine. They will be required to create products from the extracted resources. For example, from the grain you make beer for a party. Or sell this beer to other players.
- Engineering. Completely change the system of construction of buildings. Now in engineering it is possible not only to build buildings, but also to improve them.
- Allocation. Completely change the system of distribution of colonists. There will be additional functions, professions, management.
- City Hall. We will add complete statistics on the colony. You will see what happens to your colony on one screen.
- Rating. The rating system will change and the rating will become more useful for the colony than it is now.
- New professions. We will add new professions and prepare a system for future expansion.
In addition, the following will be changed and added:
- Colony map
- Navigation
- Food consumption system
- Festivals and parties
- FAQ on the game
- and many other minor details related to the work of the colony...
All of the above will be drawn and programmed. And as you understand, it takes a lot of time.
But this will make the game much more interesting. It will also allow us to complement the game with different events in the future, which is problematic to do now.
The city will have something to do if you get tired of breeding and farming.
We are working on this system step by step, and at the moment no errors were found.
At the moment, the guys are adapting the city to a comfortable game. Their task is to make it easy for movement, so that the city does not burden your systems. In fact, the city is ready. Next we will deal with the Farm. But there things are a little easier. Because the farm is smaller than the city in size ;)
I am working on reviving the whole city. Characters and their livelihoods. To save time, in version 2.0 there will be only background characters. But if time permits, then I would like to add an interaction function with them ;)
But this is also a big piece of work (drawing, animation, programming). So I will focus on the amount of work. And if it really takes a lot of time, then I will postpone it for a separate update package.
The same goes for parties. I want to make more leeway for you during parties. And besides that, we need to make more different options.
So at the beginning there will be a few basic parties, and in the future we will add more.
As you can see, there is a lot of work. In addition, future add-ons are to be made:
- Prostitution
- Police
- Spaceport
But they will be loaded in separate parts, because they are very large in terms of the amount of work.
IN THE NEAR FUTURE
At the moment, so that you don’t feel bored, I’m working on a little story "Smal Business Rourke".
This story is not a one-time, and you can have fun at any time. To do this, you need to go to the Rourke in the store. The story begins with the engineer Olli, but next time there will be other girls. If you want to have fun with Ollie, then this episode will be available in "Episodes" in the control menu.
Small Business Rourke will be available the other day, because I want to add more diversity. I am working on it at the moment.

Mine already remembers the presets, check your game files and if there's something write protected (like a config file, maybe) make it write enabled ;) <br>ALSO, run the game as administrator, this forces any presets to save regardless

I was thinking about the issue with the 'sexiness' skill earlier. I know that because of real world law, prostitution might be difficult. But maybe the city could get a hospital, with nurses(male/female nurses) and the sexiness is tied to the nurse. Think like this: a sexier nurse does better 'work'. Or maybe they make the doctors want to work harder, by 'using' their sexiness. And the hospital could also make medical products.

And this also explains why we were getting loan requests from fellow bankers ;)<br>LordFoul, the reason some of the others may have ignored/declined you is because your account is quite prominent in the game banking system and that may have made them cautious.<br>In my case, it made me curious, but I found out the why soon enough, others may be more cautious and hold off. With this in mind, it may be prudent to get a less prominent client to try applying for loan requests.

Allocationtion - allows you to manage the colonists. As a personnel department in the company. You will have complete statistics on how many colonists are in a colony, what they are doing and so on. Data from your economy, food, production, the mood of the colonists, and other tools necessary for analysis. In short, the City Hall will provide full information about the colony but without details. If you need accurate data about the colonists, then you need to contact Allocation.
