Year End Update
🕑 Added 2021-12-24 19:50:24 +0000 UTCHello everyone, I'm going to open up right away with some rather horrific news: I've suffered a complete data loss on Lost in Laminate's new version, and have exhausted data recovery efforts. My last recoverable version is the base 8.0 release, and lacks everything that I've written since, totaling up to 80,000+ words, and a large variety of scenes.
This is obviously devastating, especially because it was nearing release. Because of LiL's size I was saving it differently then my other projects, and they're all quite fine, so the silver lining is that my backup systems work-- but losing all that effort is causing me to effectively shelve LiL for the time being, as I figure out what I want to do.
In other news, I've nearly completed a Torean Role Picker, which provides a quick in-character-ish way to get a feel for the different roles/jobs on Torei. Intended as a quick snack of a project to be released prior to my returning to fulltime work, its timeline has slipped considerably, but I'm hoping to have it done soon. A testing version is already available on the Torean Discord.
Stables of Cyn is also progressing towards another update, which will include a full non-kink scene (movie night with the girls), a new kink scene (team training), and a bunch of framework stuff involving character development and unlocks. No ETA on full release, though.
As always, thanks for your support, especially while I deal with LiL suffering such a setback. You guys remain the best, and this doesn't change my overall enthusiasm for writing.

Sorry about the data loss, it's a huge bother when tech screws you over that way. It's completely understandable that that was awfully frustrating, and that you're putting it on hold for now at least. Since the last time I commented I've played the new stables content and played a lot more of Laminate calling, both of which I thought were cool. No matter which project gets priority, I'm confident I'm gonna have a good time, so for what it's worth I think it's perfectly fine to just work on whatever you feel like. Hope you have a merry christmas and a happy new year!
As someone who writes and does video editing on the side, it's a real punch to the gut when you lose so many hours of your life in a project 😔. Take some time away from it, process your feelings, and try again from a new angle. Sometimes it's a good thing, as ideas that you had before where you couldn't put in, can have their time to shine and you can make it sharper. But yeah, thanks for everything you do, it's still appreciated.
