Atrocities are committed in every war by all sides to one degree or another. In WWII, as Germany initiated the Blitz, they can't cry "foul," nor can Japan, who initiated atrocities on civilian populations as well. It's a tragic consequence of war as demonstrated in current conflicts as well as historical ones. If you don't want war visited on your civilian population, don't visit it on other's. If you do, you may "reap what you sow."

One point of constructive criticism. The map of Hamburg you used is not historically accurate to the time, as it includes port infrastructure that wasn't built until the 70s. Great video, nonetheless.

Brutal strategy to target the workers and their families. This and Dresden remain examples of what would’ve been called war crimes had the allies lost the war. However the argument can be made that the war needed to be taken to the German populace in order for them to truly understand the pain which their country inflicted on millions of Jews, Poles, and Russians. This is the cost of war.
