Ch 4, p18 ... you can ride a two-wheeler buzzed on pot, but wobbling drunk? You WILL fall over. And now Indy's got to find a way to get his l'il darlin' home safe. Also, props to Indy for calling a stop to the fun before Pen could order another drink, lol!

Just an observation: Trotters isn't strictly a pred bar (of course), but Rory wouldn't be allowed in if it were. Bears are mostly omnivores, and if he's typical, his diet is ~90% non-meat. Maybe they should put grass on the menu ...

Wow, I found the freebies over on e6 ... hit page 7 of Ch 4 and about choked with Pen thinking how nice Indy's breath smells ... Okay, this is One Step Beyond, and not a small one, to me. I had to stumble at the end of Ch 1 when Rosa asked "Is he cute?" and Pen is visualizing eyes, hands--okay so far-- then TEETH. Earth to Pen: those ain't cute--pretty, maybe, but they're LETHAL. Now this. Okay, props to Indy on his oral hygiene; it couldn't be better, but still ... any of ya who've smelled dog-breath (or cat-breath) have to agree with me on this: something is wrong with Pen. If he'd texted that to Rosa, she'd have told him to get to a hospital and said, "You're not in love, you've got toxoplasmosis!" Seriously, did Indy go through ten packs of sweetgrass chewing gum on the way to the bar?! Actually, I can't criticize this; I once wrote a short story in which a guy (human) fell in love with a coyote ... X-rated, and they did just about everything. One of my best works, and I tried to rewrite it without the porn but couldn't. Maybe I should try again, but it'd be a lot shorter, lol!
