So Dozer is a bit asocial, eh? That's okay, I'm sure that Main Character is up to the challenge. // So I was thinking how a similar conversation with Chester might go... // MC: "Hey Chester, you ever think about playing football?" Chester: "Oh man, only all through high school! I was really into this great football anime--the players were mostly these big guys and between games they would... uh... Never mind. Anyway, my high school didn't have much for sports. It was really great to come here and finally get on a real team!" MC: "Huh. So you were actually on the football team here? Why'd you switch to tennis?" Chester: "So... Turns out, most of what they did in that anime isn't actually legal in real football. I practiced a lot, but nothing ever went how I wanted it and the coach there was yelling all the time." MC: "Sounds rough." Chester: "Yeah. But I trained really hard, and finally got the coach to let me play in a game. It was great! I was finally on the field!" MC: "Nice. So how'd it go?" Chester: "Oh, uh. They pulled me out and benched me for the rest of the year after I sacked the quarterback." MC: "Wait, isn't sacking the quarterback a good thing?" Chester: "Not when it's your team's quarterback." MC: "..." Chester: "..." MC: "Well, *I'm* glad you ended up here, anyway. Do you ever regret switching?" Chester: "...Not anymore."

Seems obvious that Spencer is already using his superpowers to become perfect at everything he's trying to achieve (except at telling the truth, but superheroes ain't need no pesky truth !). You're so right about him going wild all of a sudden and still doing fantastic. I'd say there could be something fishy, the frowney face while choosing "Bothered" might mean something else than just him being disappointed in our response.

Vic: Yeah, he's known that he's fallen for Spence for a while--I was getting the impression he's now awaiting definite proof from Spencer's side before saying anything, especially with the D7 last bit where he finally (finally!) notices an event that could be just that proof. (Having pretty much ignored all the others, probably because they didn't fit with his "just friends/impossible" conviction). And while logically, you (and Maria) are correct about the likely consequences of confession, emotionally... I wouldn't underestimate people's ability be afraid of unlikely disasters. // BTW, careful what you say here--I don't think DK would like you revealing his plan to lure people in with romance and then surprise shift into the superhero action genre. (Though now I wonder what powers the cast might have if that *did* happen...)

@Rego, that's understandable, but on the side, the MC has promised Spencer to tell him the truth, and alternatively there's Maria who can tell her story about her missed opportunity. That should influence him in some way. And at Day 7, he seems pretty okay with the idea of having fallen in love with him, I think he mostly got over it. Plus, I don't know if with his state of mind (assuming Spencer isn't in love with him), telling the truth to Spencer would be much of an issue ; if they are supposed to be this close, and if Spencer is just not into the MC, both of them should be able to get over it. I'd say that in the worst case scenario, the MC might get emotionally scarred for a few days (no biggie ;D), but they'll still be friends, which isn't really any different than the usual. I mean it's still better than wait a long time, then Spencer gets a boyfriend, and through the realization that the MC busted his only chance, he becomes a Spiderman villain. Just saying. *laughs* @DarkKing, speaking of, I hope you've been able to reconnect with your friend after that...

HAha, I reworded that question from Spence to make it more clear. I had to go check the sprites in my script too, to make sure the images were all displayed properly, and they are, so what I did was intentional! x3 And lastly, I love the thought put into that, as it's a bit further than even I had thought it out. It's somewhat based on real life events for me. Had a friend like that, but he really felt nothing for me like what I felt for him. This character shall not suffer than same fate though! Maybe.......

"Internal screaming" yes i'd say that sums up this one quite nicely and "JUST KISS ALREADY" as well that fits too.

Some of it might be inertia--he's known Spence for years, and judging from Day 3 has spent a significant amount of that time both attracted to him and convincing himself that nothing could ever happen because they're just friends. That could be hard to get over in just a few days. There might also be a self-confidence aspect: Spencer has always been the popular attractive straight-As star athlete while MC has been presumably been stuck playing second fiddle; clearly someone as impressive as Spence has no reason to be interested in the MC like that when he can do so much better. (I mean, come on, the guy decides to rebel and go wild and he turns out fantastic at *that* too?)

It hit me too, MC is kind of dense here. It's frustrating enough that at the end of Day 6 he doesn't suspect anything, but at the end of Day 7, I was like : "Kiss him/Tell him already, you numbnut !" Although that counts for Spencer too, either he's nearly as dense as the MC, or he knows (Day 6 "You're slacking" option may serve as proof of that) and he's waiting for the MC to make the first move... poor Spencer's gonna wait for a while. Yeah, it wasn't very clear about the choice. That aside, I think I noticed something about the Indifferent/Bothered choice : at the end of the conversation outside of the club, if you choose "Bothered", as you're about to re-enter the club, Spencer makes a frowney face for half a second during the transition, even though the end of the conversation is identical. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but if it was, then great detail.

Spencer Day 7 was completely awesome. I mean, sometimes I think that if the MC were any denser he'd just collapse into a black hole, but it's hard to argue with the results when they include *that*. // Got caught out by the "Indifferent" vs "Bothered" choice though; didn't catch on that it was just about approving the job, and when I did I wished there were an "Insanely Jealous" option. : ) (Though MC would probably really not have liked explaining _why_ he was jealous of the other patrons. >_> )

Me also. ...and seeing the new graphic, it occurred to me that most of DK's characters must have some serious issues finding pants that fit comfortably. Unless they all just get them tailor-made, I guess.

Aww, no kissing... otherwise EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !! Can't wait until the next Spencer update ! My body was actually shaking for the entirety of Day 7 ! The MC telling that Dozer doesn't look like a tennis player... hmmm why does that subject sound familiar... ?
