It is interesting that The Great Mootaku is doing game design. While certainly working for a large studio he might have to move, a smaller one might let him stay put most of the time. Or he could eventually start his own indie studio, if only he knew someone who knew how to run the business side... hmm. As the first game for him to work on, I suggest a gay furry romance visual novel style one centered around a college basketball team. The protagonist could choose to pursue the star, the quiet one, the nerd, the pervert, or the coach. If he goes for the nerd, he can help him write a choose-your-own-adventure style game about a lonely, down-on-his-luck guy in a college tennis club, who finds love when... Uh. Never mind.

The "jock" guys in my high school were kinda like this until they matured a little bit. They did some pretty vile things.

Definitely in stories it seems that way, doesn't it? I suspect in RL it's less "football" specifically and more that any time you get a large group of young, macho, competitive guys together it's likely to get a bit Lord-of-the-Flies-ish. (My limited RL contact with players has been totally not that, but I went to a pretty geeky school that didn't take football seriously at all, which might be skewing things.)

Heh, maybe the straight guys in this universe are the equivalent of Muggles from Harry Potter . Also are high-school/college football players that despicable in general, or is it just a stereotype ? I've already heard of that kind of behaviour from them in other stories and even in real life (moreso than in other disciplines at least), that's freaking sick.
