Pen needs a haircut
🕑 Added 2025-12-06 17:37:29 +0000 UTCToying with the idea of Pen's hair being cropped short in scifi AU. "Clean cut man gets progressively more disheveled over the course of the story" is just a really funny trope to me.
Also been thinking about how to adjust his design to make him look a bit older; he's in his 30s in this story and sadly the RBF only gets worse with age. By 40 his eyebrows will be stuck like that.

I like the idea in the first paragraph: 'Clean cut man gets more disheveled...', and if Pen is canonically in his 30's, then the middle image would be right, I think

I like the overgrown look, partly bc the shorn makes his neck look too skinny.
