DyneWulf

Thank you for choosing to support the project! I'm happy that you've enjoyed it enough to do so.

DyneWulf

Coded some things wrong on Day 10. You can ignore it until it goes away, but it'll be fixed in the next update.

DyneWulf

There are a variety of things you can type! Cards and Money are the most important things though ;3

DyneWulf

It drives me crazy too >.> I'm glad to see people getting a kick out of that too, since it's a lot of fun adding in some of those reactions.

DyneWulf

Thank you! Glad you're enjoying it =3

DyneWulf

This issue has been shared a few times, and I've asked that logs not be posted here x3 They take up a ton of space here. The issue will be corrected in just a couple of days with the next update too :D

MegaKazuki

Haohmaru

Just now playing through it again from last time with Harold. Absolutely love what you've done with that storyline.

Ben Davis

Another great update guys! Darius has me in so much suspense on this emotional roller coaster it's driving me crazy! But will admit I've fallen hard for this mischievous perv. New artwork looks fantastic and I loved the selfie update :D Also, I howled with laughter and nearly bailed straight off my chair at Richard getting caught by Maria! XD I'm definitely getting on board with the major interest in Richard, and I'm excited that you mentioned you're not too far from Harold's end, but I also know it's gonna be heartbreaking. Don't think I'm ready to say goodbye to that wonderful, lovable bear yet :)

Is there a list of things you can type in the box before you go the convention with Ches? Things that have actual descriptions at least.

MK2011

I started a new game with this download but it keeps crashing about half way through

Robert Pure

I'm honestly so happy i decided to pledge to you because I was playing the public version and was enjoying it until i got to the end of what was available for Spencer it was then I knew i had to support you on Patreon because Spencer was my favorite (still is) but now with seeing what Darius has to offer in the newest build I'm excited to see what will come from this amazing game.

Leo Fairmane

Ohh okay, awesome, thanks. :) I knew I should he waiting for something, but I must not have noticed the prompt changing, that helps.

DyneWulf

I find him to be extremely infuriating, but damn it all, if he isn't a charmer too. Who knows what Richard is gonna throw at us though!

DyneWulf

As it stands, I'm looking to do around 35 days for each route, and I would like to do one-two epilogue days too, just for the fun of it ;;3

DyneWulf

A few updates ago, I fixed the variables, because the weren't working as intended. It's working as it should now though. For the steak, you don't want to hit the key right away! Hitting it right away means she's not letting it cook long enough. This is actually something else I want to tweak. You need to wait for 3 prompts, then flip on the fourth.

DyneWulf

We all do ;D

DyneWulf

As sad as it sounds (exciting too though!), COach's route won't last much longer!

DyneWulf

Everyone is craving Richard, so I can't wait to start with him x3 And I don't think it will drag on much more. Darius is showing signs of weakness, depending on your choices ;3

DyneWulf

RIchard seems to be stealing the show for everyone!

DyneWulf

Wel, your name is Gaffgarion... so... (Ya know, FFT!). I'd be surprised if RPGs weren't your favorite!

Kusho

God damn, that Darius. He can be so cute, and yet so friggin' infuriating at the same time! XD Probably why I love his route so much. Honestly, I love how you've designed all your characters-- they have actual depth beyond "the perfect one, the pervert, the teacher, the nerdy one, the musclehead." I may not be as eager for Richard's route as everyone else seems to be, but I'm still looking forward to see what kind of baggage he has, too. Who knows, I might end up liking him-- goodness knows, I went into Darius's route originally hating him (months ago, mind you), and by the end of it, I fell for the guy. (Dozer will always be my number one, though) As for the games question, definitely RPGs. Being able to make a character and grow stronger and stronger, then go back and beat the crap out of things that gave me a hard time is so... cathartic. Though, being fair, I also play Harvest Moon-type games to death (Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, and the like).

Absolutely can't wait for Richard's route! As for video games, pretty much anything cute and metroidvania-y like Hollow Knight. Nintendo games like Kirby and Splatoon 2 are also pretty fun. Keep up the awesome work!

Leo Fairmane

Let's see... RPGs and Puzzle games are my top 2 faves, especially anything in the Zelda franchise. Story usually hooks ya just right and the gameplay is a nice mix of RPG/Puzzle/Adventure to sink ya into everything going on. Also Pokemon. Can never go wrong with Pokemon. Also, is it just me, or can I suddenly not get the winning the bet route? Is there something more I have to do with the keypress game? Do I have to wait three minutes before I flip the steak? I didn't have an issue winning the bet like, a year or so ago when I last played the game, but now I lose the bet every time ^^;; (for reference, I've just been hitting the keys as soon as the prompt pops up))

My favorite types of games are RPGs but I also very partial to adventure style games such as platformers and exploration/puzzle solving games (such as Zelda and Mario) so you could say I enjoy both pretty equally. What keeps me hooked to RPG games is probably gameplay and story both equally. If an RPG has a lot depth to its combat mechanics and tons of customization I take a huge liking into it but if the story is very engaging and I fall in love with the characters and get immersed with the story/world then I get hooked just the same. As far as adventure style games go, I enjoy exploration, finding secret things and puzzle solving a lot. I also enjoy collectathons. Those are probably the main things that get me hooked into those games. Text adventure games are fun to me because they offer a story as well as exploration. However, I wouldn't compare a visual novel to a text/adventure game since visual novels are more about trying to find what the character you're aiming for likes as a response while a text/adventure game feels more like a puzzle/exploration to me.

Gorim Bear

Omg i need Richard in my life

Edgaa

Oh, My favourite game is RPG and also puzzle, otherwise simulation sush as Simcity or The Sims.

GuacBear

My favorite game type would also be adventure/rpg

Tipmon

Hot damn, every single time I see Richard I want his route that much more. Hands down seems like he would be my #1, finally knocking Coach off his pedestal. I am liking how much we are starting to see of Darius and how intimate (thoughts and past wise) we are getting with him. I am actually starting to look forward to his route more and more as time goes on. Also, my favorite game type is usually adventure/rpg style ala Skyrim. Like shooters and MMOs also.

Drewihd

Ugh god the Richard teasing is just too much in all these routes Dyne, I just crave a Richard route more and more cause I'm a thirsty hoe. Looool! UNLEASH PACHYDERM DADDY! Excellent Darius update I really enjoyed the interactions on this day but his route is starting to feel agonizing, but that's pretty accurate in this case since he isn't as far along as others, I just hope it doesn't drag on for TOO much longer. My favorite game genres are Fighting Games and RPG Games as they keep me the most invested than almost any other genre, specifically RPG games with character creation which is why I am glad this game implemented one to make the experience more 3rd person authentic since I don't play the game with MC named after myself. And Fighting games just give me a fun rush to enjoy in short bursts when I have no IRL time to sit and invest in an RPG. Also Overwatch I have been playing consistently since it came out so whichever game genre that game specifically is I would love to play more of it if game devs made them.

Nickthulhu

RPGs are definitely my favorite. Especially open world rpgs. I've recently rediscovered text based games. I don't know if I'm a "fan", but I found a few recently that are quite good.

Nickthulhu

Not sure if you're a fan of the Quest for Glory games, but the creators just came out with a new game. Not s sequel, but set in the same world. Hero U. It's one steam and quite good. I highly recommend it if you're into the old school adventure games.

Edgaa

This time Richard made, my heart blow!!! Frankly, Darius route is more colorful for this way. He's playful and spicy, plus Richard and Agazal, this 2 are my favourite Cameo and I like what I see, hehe

Anyone else get the feeling Darius and Richard already know each other? hmm... As for favourite type of game i'd say RPGs, I also really like text adventures, especially ones that let you choose who you are.

Prince Galaxy

My fav is puzzle games! solving puzzles is always my fav pasa time as just playing them makes my brain train more and i just love them

Rob Colton

Adventure games are my favorite, especially the LucasArts and Sierra style games!

APallion

Richard would have stolen me away in a heartbeat. Darius cute but he playin too much.

Gaffgarion

RPGs are my fave! I love the fun oftentimes cliche plots from the SNES era of games like Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy 6. Currently I'm a fan of the super deep world building plots of the Trails Legend of Heroes series and the throwbacks to classics like Dragon Quest. I'm literally checking my email every few hours and hating that its a holiday weekend because I want my CE of DQ 11 to arrive! Honestly the characters are the key part of what pulls me into such games, one of the same reasons I'm drawn to your VN! I enjoy text adventure games from time to time as well, especially if they are a bit lewd. =x

DyneWulf

He will definitely keep you on your toes, that pain in the ass lion. Oooh, Disgaea is such a great one to point out. I really enjoyed that one (art, story, combat and all!). All good stuff there though! Not sure about the comment deal either x3 Maybe PAtreon just ate it.

DyneWulf

No literal dying is allowed!

DyneWulf

Yeah, I seems to have missed something in my own testing, so I'll have to see what I did x3

DyneWulf

BOth of those guys seem quite okay with that, huh?

DyneWulf

Argh, that's unfortunate. I was hoping they had that all worked out by now.

DyneWulf

Definitely! Having a big world to get lost in is definitely a plus.

DyneWulf

Hahaha, well happy birthday! All good to know too! The middle-ground is definitely a nice place to be

DyneWulf

FFT is my hands-down favorite game ever! I love it so much. All of these are good though ;3

DyneWulf

I can't wait to do more with him too!

DyneWulf

All good stuff too! Some great taste in games right there ;3

I literally died, so much dramatic turns!!!!! Awesome job!

Naesaki Ashwell

Enjoyable update as always, really can't pinpoint how its going to turn it out with Darius at all now, definitely keeping me on my toes. As for your question, the games I like most are rpgs be it western, eastern or a hybrid of the two. I love em all, mainstay favourites being the likes of Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Divinity Original Sin, Disgaea series, Legend of Heroes franchise, Persona and so on. As to why they keep me hooked it has to be the world building and character building/interactions, the LoH series especially. As for text adventure games, as long as the narrative/story is solid, I find them very engaging. (On a side note, I was sure I left a comment earlier but it just completely vanished?)

Moridin1972

I've been getting a lot of exception errrors on Darius' route as well, on day 10. I can see the earlier comment mentioning it as well so I won't spam but just to give you a heads up

Healer Main

My god. The concept of a three way with Darius and Richard where Darius ends up getting jealous and finally claims you all to himself is a hot and realistic future. I'm so into that Rhino Daddy.

SilverS

Ugh, the charge from Patreon failed again with Wells Fargo. I'm attempting to fix it for my account.

Richard is confirmed to have a route in the future in a patreon post.

As for favorite genre of games, I'm undecided on that. As I've played through many genres and enjoyed them thoroughly, since I've been gaming for years: from rpg, horror, indie, sandbox-style, first-person, etc. As for my favorite game, currently would have to be Team Cherry's Hollow Knight: I downloaded the game back in July and I've had a blast so far while playing it. From the the style of the game's art, to the music and characters, and also the lore. It just wraps you up in it.

Frost Knight

RPGs are probably my favorite. I like the feel of creating a character and getting immersed in a world.

BOOYAH, IT'S MY DAPPER LION!!! TIME TO DOWNLOAD AND CHECK OUT THE NEW UPDATE!!!

DyneWulf

Prolly the same one mentioned above. Hit ignore, and you should be good.

Vincent II

downloaded the update but got the error screen playing Darius on Day 20. I decided to start over the file to see if that fixed it but got the same error when I got to Day 10 of Darius.

Moridin1972

Yay, a new update with a focus on Darius - now that's what I call a proper birthday treat (as I hit the ripe old age of 46!) - can't wait to see what's what with this one. As for your general question: I'm definitely a huge fan of RPGs/JRPGs, especially ones where choices/decisions matter (I have spent 100s of hours in games like Mass Effect, Baldurs Gate, the Final Fantasy series etc and I am absolutely stoked for Cyberpunk 2077 when its released). Text adventure games aren't bad (I actually have a few of the choose your own adventure type text games from Steam) but I think with that frame I'm happiest with the middle ground - like you have done with EA - that combination of text based with artwork. It's also why I'm really looking forward.

Rolling

RPGs, definitely. Hmm hard to say, I've got a lot now. DnD 5e, Pathfinder, Dragon quest(the whole series), Bravely Default, Final Fantasy Tactics(even the GBA & DS versions) I just love the story, the combat, the adventure, the classes! (Everything really). I'm not sure about text adventure games, I've only tried a few... admittedly mostly lewd ones, but if the topic is right then I'm hooked.

Donovan Grayson

Oh you tease! There is quite a bit of Richard in this update and I want to see more πŸ˜‹

DyneWulf

Typo on my part! x3 I wish I could get through that many days, all for one update!

Hey, first of all, wanted to say that this is the best thing ever and that Darius is my favourite, but my story ends on day 20. I haven't been following the latest updates so I don't know if it's a typo or if there's something wrong with my files (I'm on android).

"They are not my characters, and my resources will be focused on the main cast" - is Richard concerned a maincast character hopefully? RPGs are my relief in this life, cuz it surely feels nice to become someone cool and better for time.

DyneWulf

Mmm, Zelda can always pop in some good puzzles here and there.

DyneWulf

Darius is totally worth it ;3

DyneWulf

Giving the players a choice that matters means a lot to me too! I'm actually pleased that -most- of my choices in EA matter.

Riss

Dang it, now I'll be thinking about this until I get to play it tonight! Anyway, my favorite games tend to be RPGs. A fun story, ideally a branching one with a custom character, always gets me. I've put wayyyy to many hours in KOTOR, Jade Empire, and Dragon Age Origins. Which after typing them I realize are all old Bioware titles...

Paracelsus

Also, minor typo - it's Darius Day 20, not 25 }:]

Dragolord Bellum Aster

Rpg is the best

I like puzzle rpg games like the legend of zelda. I like how each dungeon makes you think about how to solve them to beat them.

Jacek Jagosz

Thank you, right now I'm subscribed and waiting only for Darius!

Donovan Grayson

I love rpgs just for all the different choices, i like creating a narrative and then going back and making different choices to see how different the story becomes, text based RPGs are a lot of fun if done right but many I've seen either are too short, don't have many choices, or the choices are too similar
