Android Issues - Update
🕑 Added 2018-12-03 20:22:58 +0000 UTC I've had a handful of reports that the Android version of 1.70 is not working for people. It seems to be crashing upon starting up. I've only seen comments about it in regards to the non-Gallery version of the game.Has anyone with the gallery version had this issue?
Has anyone had this issue and successfully fixed it? If so, could you share what you did? The most advice I can give is just uninstall/delete the older version and try reinstalling the new one after that.
It worked perfectly on my device (Samsung 8S+), and I've looked for reasons this could be happening, but I have found no answer. I haven't changed anything in regards to how the android version is made between 1.69 and 1.70 either, so I have no idea what the issue would be. I'll look some more and see what I can find.
I updated renpy and had to go through a whole mess for getting my android builds to work again. I've created a new build and added it to the download folder called "android.build-170...." Try that and give it a shot. Please, let me know if this works for you guys (it worked for me and on BlueStacks on another computer)!

It might be because I had to build it in a completely new way, after whatever updates Renpy did. As for it not opening again, is it giving you some kind of error?

I haven't heard of any issues with Windows 10. As for installation, I have to export it from Dropbox to my phone, then install it from where it downloaded to my phone. Otherwise, it doesn't do anything directly from Dropbox.

The new version started up for me on a galaxy s9+, but all my saves are gone... Ah well.

I have been having trouble with installing the update even. It will download but when I do the install process on my Samsung J3 it acts like there is nothing to install. Was there any problems with anyone who used Windows 10? If not I can try that.

I added a new file to the download folder. It's called android.build-170. Try that and see if it works for you!

Crashes at startup (doesn't even start). On a Moto Z2 Play running Android 8. Kinda sad not playing on the go, but already played in the computer :)

Been uninstalling and reinstalling constantly and so far it's not working at all ..1.69 works perfectly fine even uninstalling and reinstalling it. But for 1.70 no dice ... running a galaxy s8+

No dice here. Tried a full uninstall and reinstall. Usually the game switches to landscape mode when the Renpy loading screen comes up, but for some reason it stays in Portrait mode now and then crashes a few seconds later. Currently running: Galaxy J7 Refine Android version - 8.0.0
Nope, works fine. Just some clothing mishaps on Harold and Chester

I have an S8 and as I said before, it crashes after the start up.. I've reinstated it multiple times and still nothing.
