Update 1.21!

I was up till like 6AM working on getting things ready, and I still feel like something is missing. I've tweaked a variety of things, tried some more new things, and just really jammed a lot of content into this update.
So, here's a bit of what we've got going on in this update.
~ Title Screen!! Finally, you guys no longer have to look at that terrible thing I called a title screen! Thank you so much for all your support. Since you guys helped trash my goal, this was the first thing I wanted to have done. CursedMarked did an AMAZING job on it, and I love it. Thank you!
~Day 14 for Coach Grifter - OOOOOH, he asked you out on a date, and it's time (but is this Date 1 or 2?)! I really got carried away with his little date, so there's a bunch of different things you can do with it. This was a really tedious area to check due to the options I gave and all the hidden point systems, but I hope I got everything straightened out. Much love to my man for helping me out with that. In the first few minutes of testing it, I had a handful of minor typos that caused things to break. I really hope you guys enjoy this update for Coach. I can't wait to continue with it.
~Day 12 for Chester - Convention time! And with that, we have a Patron requested costume from Regonoreth, and then a Patron sprite for Aurynx, of his character, Carson. Both of these are from months ago, but I haven't had a place to put them till now. I added a variety of sounds to his route (and if they bother you, PLEASE tell me). Adjusting the volume is really difficult since... You have computer volume controls, in game volume controls, then I have scripting volume controls... So, getting the volume right is tough. Chester's route was fun to work with too, and his next update I can't wait for either! Again, extensive testing on his route (though I think there was something that didn't click right still but didn't cause a crash at least!). Again, CM did an awesome job with the Armor for Chester <3
NOW SOME BAD NEWS!
I asked on the Ren'Py forums about the issue I was having with people encountering errors for new variables whenever they came across them. Despite the coding I'm using, I was told by a veteran member that people should be restarting, otherwise they will encounter errors. So, from this point on... a clean restart each update might be best. You can always try loading a file first, but if it crashes and says a variable isn't defines... You have to restart. I spent a lot of time trying to get around that, but whenever I loaded up old files, it normally crashed on me. To help make up for this, I'm going to create a little guide for each character and include it next time to get you guys the most preferred ending to the routes. It'll help skip through things faster!
So, Patreon also implemented their file limit finally. I can't upload files directly to the site anymore, so I'll have to use external links. What this means is that the chances of my Patron only content ending up on other sites is kinda high. I'll still ask that you guys PLEASE not share these links. Due to this, I think it's time for me to consider new options in my Patron reward system, so I'll be coming up with new ideas for that. Suggestions? Stay tuned for more!
And for my new supporters, some important information!
Keep in mind, if you find in crashes or bugs, let me know! If it crashes, try starting your file over from the start before messaging me (It's what I'll tell you to do anyway! x3) and see if it crashes again at the same point. If so, snag a screenshot and send it my way! Or, copy the text and send me a message . Please see this image to know what I need, that way you aren't sending a wall of text! >> http://i.imgur.com/jYT5sFT.png . That always helps me out, as I do miss things from time to time when checking for these errors. And so you don't have to read ALLLLL the text again, don't forget, you can go into Preference and set the Skip Text message to ALL. From there, just hold down CTRL to skip text faster.
If you find a typo, all you have to do is let me know whose route, what day, and the sentence. I can find it easily from there! You don't have to go through the trouble of screenshotting that and sending it to me (unless you think it's easier!). Thank you to the guys that have already done this, as it helps me out tremendously! Please keep in mind though, character dialogue is not meant to be perfect (except Coach's). It's part of their character. So much thanks to Regonoreth too. He's been extraordinarily helpful over the months.

haven't played through the new chester day yet but i gotta say, i really love everything about harold's new day (the interruption at the end was unfortunate but i know we will persevere). my fav bit will have to be how mc is basically constantly reassuring harold that he's not moving too fast while trying to not reveal his supreme thirst.

I don't think I took into consideration the different results you can have at the start of Day 7 (I think there are 3 possible ones), and I forgot to add his sprite through all of them. Overall, I was really happy with how Chester's route turned out. I had a lot of fun with it, and I kinda want to develop more ideas around it. CM did an AMAZING job with the armor. I absolutely loved how it came out. IDEKA.. exists in the sense that it's a comic (like it is right now)! Though, it is kind of a way to promote the comic more x3 But it FITS, doesn't it? Heh, Grifter's route... He's also CM's favorite character, so I asked him where he'd like the coach to take him, and he said that. I added it to my list of ideas, and I actually really like the thought. It works in part of Coach's past and shows that he has a fun side to him (and he's getting it back!). I kinda do want him to have the Dad vibe too, but not in the overbearing, creepy way. As for that reward, it's pretty simple how it works. One-time pledge, gets one outfit. Multiple months just means multiple outfits. And really, a general idea works normally. CM is great with working with me on these things!

A follow up on my previous reply concerning the few issues (with Massimo & Harold) or oversights I noticed after starting over and experimenting a bunch. Only one thing : On Chester's route, when you buy wine and meet with Andrew the day after (Day 7), his sprite doesn't appear until towards the end of the day. At the beginning of Day 7, he's cooking something, and talking to the MC, but his sprite doesn't come up. "Chester let out the most unmanly squeal you've ever heard from him as he danced around with his gifts." As a fan of fangirling or squeals, I laughed way too hard trying to picture the scene. The amusement park choice from Harold kinda left me uneasy at first, I mean he's dating the MC and at the same time Harold's dialogues and the setting are giving off a dad vibe (but a familial dad, not like "oh he's a sexy daddy" or something). Though I get they are supposed to have fun, at least it's not Jack (Blackgate) outright saying "You can call me daddy" during BDSM sex. /shudders Ultimately it was still very fun to go through... that ending however, yikes ! I hope Harold will tell her the truth, it's never easy, but if she came back in order to be with him again, this smells trouble. However I think Chester's day blew Harold's out of the water. HE LOOKS SO DOPE WITH THAT ARMOUR ON ! He's just so cute, I was grinning from ear to ear half the time ! That geek convention was just perfect, and it's only the first day, I WANNA SEE MOAR ALREADY ! /star eyes Wait wait, I.D.E.K.A. exists in that world ? I thought Spencer had the shirt only for IRL promotional purposes, like product placement. Huh... for such a "normal" guy Spence, you're into some weeeeiiiiiird fetishes. Maybe he initially wanted to poison us with a love potion, that's why he became a fan of the comic. I might have saved enough money for a tier 3 reward, and I probably have an idea of outfit for Spencer (not great or original admittedly, maybe it would fit Harold as well though) which would potentially fit into a realistic context (contrarily to "Moomaid" although that was hilarious), but I have no idea how the reward system works cause I definitely can't afford to contribute 50$ more than a single month (plus if I do it, preferably on September), and I have zero experience in commissioning somebody.
Awesome update! Harold's date was lovely, but that ending... can't wait for the next day on his route>_>.

i've only finished day 14 for harold so far and tbh i hated the way how it ended........i saw that coming months ago but still dammit, despite that i like the drama how it ending created LOVE chester's 1st day at the convention, even better than I originally thought it would be and i had high hype for it too woooow. I'm sensing chester's surprise for the next to be hot springs >:3

i just downloaded it so i haven't played through it yet, i just want to share that the title image looks kinda like coach is nervous cause he's about to go through initiation for the 'no eyebrows club' (i really love the image and think it's adorable that's just a funny interpretation i wanted to share)

Phew! You scared me when you said bad news. Starting over is not much an issue thanks to things like auto skip, but a guide would be very much welcome! I still bump into new things sometimes when I play it that I feel I should have bumped on them before (like buying wine for Chester). Also, would be nice to check I got to see all those extra scenes I hard on the streaming. As always keep up the good work and good luck! Off to play I go.
