Update 1.24 with Image Gallery
🕑 Added 2016-09-30 21:31:23 +0000 UTC Hey guys! Here's what you've been waiting for. I hope you all love me, cause this was brutal getting this one ready for today. My computer crashed when I started working yesterday, and then when it was booting back up, it booted to a windows update and crashed in the middle of the update. After that, I couldn't get it to boot back at all and ended up doing a fresh install of windows (it was coming anyway, but I didn't want to do it now!). Lost a bunch of stuff, but I keep EA backed up on a hard drive and on DropBox (and I think I only lost a few images files, but I think CM has copies anyway!). That was such a headache spending several hours trying to get everything running properly again. I didn't actually finish my stuff till like 4 this morning. I stayed up and pushed through to bring this update to you guys! As of right now, it seems I have corrupt RAM, and I'll be ordering some new parts after I launch this.So, what's in store here?
~ Darius Day 6 – You get to see a little bit more about his job. Now, I apologize, this one is seriously lacking in pictures. One thing I did lose was the temp BG I was working on for this, and I was just too tired to get it back for now. This one was certainly.... interesting to work on. A bit of a struggle for me again, but we'll see what you guys think.
~ Chester Day 13 – Day 2 of the con and something else that was a lot of fun! Now this update got some love. CursedMarked did some fantastic work for me here, and I hope you guys enjoy it too. I really enjoyed working on this route. While there may not be a ton of player choices to make on this day, your choices in the past days really impact this one. I had to write so many if/else blocks. Now, to help out with this and restarting Chester's route... I have produced this handy little guide >>

On top of all that, another friend of mine, Mark Thorne , did some work for me as well for this update. You might find his stuff on this day... If you do, and you like it, go get some work done by him over at his Patreon . I know a few of you guys are showing him some support already, and I appreciate that (and trust me, I hear how much he does too). He's an amazing artist, and really deserves the love !
~ The rollback AND chat log should both work now. They don't seem to interfere with each other. And if for some reason they don't both work together, then my stuff lied to me, and I'm sorry.
~For the Art Gallery, I removed that one on Coach you couldn't get finally. I remembered! Added a few more for this update including a handful for Chester and a couple for Darius.
~ Ah, and one other note. While I thought I'd be able to work on two projects at once, it seems that might be a little extreme. For October, chances are, you will only see 1 route update each update this month, but don't forget, you'll also be getting the IDEKA Halloween Special 2016 visual novel I'm working on with CM. And chances are, there might not be any new art for EA this month, since all that work will be going to the Halloween Special as well (but we'll see!). before I started Chester route, I had way different ideas for the ending, but went a different route in the end. I loved where it went though x3 I had a lot of fun with it. Darius's though.. Was somewhat obnoxious to me and rushed ( I ended up happy with it in the end). I do like the idea of actually changing up his actions, depending on your answer for Day 5 though. It makes sense that it would affect how he acts. I hope for his NEXT update, I'll have that outfit ready to go too! Annnd.. I wrote him as a tiger several times in this update, but I caught it the other times. I blame Azaghal for that.

This was an interesting update, lots of progression with Chester in that relationship, most intriguing is him being less inhibited when it comes to being an exhibitionist but still showing hesitancy when it comes to physical contact, there is obviously something more to that than we have seen so far, I look forward to seeing where that leads. Darius is as convoluted as ever, at this point he seems as confused as the MC as to what he wants from this relationship or if he wants a relationship at all, given what little he has revealed about his past it makes sense though. Personally I feel there should be a more distinct difference in his attitude towards the player depending on your response to him at the end of day 5, specifically it wold make sense for him to keep acting aloof and distant towards the MC if he chooses not to trust him and keep looking for a one night stand. Conversely if the MC does choose to trust him, it leads to him being more honest and sincere towards the MC and more receptive to the idea of a serious relationship. I suppose that might create too many variables to keep track of though, still will be interesting to see where he goes from here either way. Also look forward to seeing Darius's 'special' outfit when it's added to the game. I did notice a few more typo's in this update than usual, but given the technical issues you had that's understandable. Also a couple of broken images (I'll post screenshots on the community page for those though). There was also one place where you referred to Darius as a a tiger on day 6: "The tiger inched closer to you, putting his face just inches from yours." Overall this was a fun update, can't wait to see what's next, also looking forward to the IDEKA Halloween special, the previous one was really good.

Added a hotfix for that. Be sure to do that to prevent huge skips in dialogue!

Another issue was brought to my attention. I checked Darius's route BEFORE my reinstall of windows, and after that reinstall, I had to get renpy again. It seemed to be a newer version, and my filler images for Darius aren't working. It's causing some skips in the dialogue. Working on the fix now.

Seems a minor error on Day 4 with Chester from adding an extra point. Just ignore it for now, and it'll go right past it. It causes no issues, do don't fret! x3
