Getting to know them
🕑 Added 2022-11-17 19:05:44 +0000 UTCHey, folks!
As we're still poking around with Engaging Destiny, I wanted to ask you guys something...
You'll see we have three men here! These are some of the character you'll come to learn more about (if you played the demo, then... you've kinda met them already!)
If you were passing through their town of Faranel and had some time to spend there, what would you ask them about? Or what would you want to know about them?
We have the dragon baker, Kalcephalos.
The boar blacksmith, Garret.
And the bear healer, Arakarn.
So... yeah! I'm curious to know what you guys might want to learn about them.

:O!! Building on that: Does it get annoying with all the butter, flour and sugar getting into his scales! lol and then for Garret, has he ever gotten his fur singed from around the forge? (Naked bum spot please haha)

I bet they are so soft and warm and pillowy............*wipes drool*
DyneWulf
...both things are good to know! x3
DyneWulf
Hmm, that's something good to think about
DyneWulf
Hah, I know some of these have answers! Thanks for the input ;3

For baker derg I'd try to come up with a better travel ration bread that stays fresh and soft for longer! Quest for ingredients like a certain other derg in an inn wished for! :P For the metal banging hot piggy, well obviously, do you smell bacon? But maybe if he could craft something for your knight master as a get well soon present? Guiding Bear Bolt Cleric... well hrmm, does he use any of his herbs recreationally? :P

Some questions that be interesting but not just aimed at one 1. Whats your favourite species? (Human WINK) 2. What you do in your free time? 3. Any other skills you would like to learn? 4. What do you look for in a partner (Human Wink) 4. What annoys you? 5. What was your worst Date?

To expand on the bear healer, I’m just wondering if he’s like a cleric type healer or a medicinal, Greek style physician. Should have elaborated. I don’t mind the slit dragons really, they’re still super cool, but can’t blame a man for preference lol

Well for Kalcephalos: How do you keep the butter from melting in the dough and do your scales help with keeping the dough & sweets from sticking to your hands. For Garret: If you had the ore & mats and freedom to craft something just for yourself what would that be? For Arakarn: If you had the freedom to make something that doesn't have to cure/heal/help with something, what would that be?
DyneWulf
The first questions are great for me to think about in game! The second question is great more me for LORE reasons, haha. Not -all- dragons have slits! It more depends on their bloodline than anything. Some dragons do have it all out in the open, but those particular dragons tend to live on another continent.
DyneWulf
HAha, there is SOME reasoning behind it!

You mean aside from getting to know them personally? Or how they met daddy? I'd ask our baker friend how much dough he rolled to get so big and strong. I'd like to ask our healer friend is he as soft as he looks strong for his occupation. Can his fluffy cuddles heal? And I'd like to ask the boar if I could sniff him to see if he smells like bacon...and if he'd go out with me 😘

I want to know how big and soft are the baker's buns......... the ones he cooks obviously.... but on a note serious note just knowing why they chose their profession and how they ended up in their current location would be a good start
Frost Knight
Hmm... do these guys have a particular romantic type? Like what they look for in a partner.

For Kacephalos: How did a big dragon get into baking of all things? (assuming he can do draggy things like breathing fire...) Has he ever tried baking using his fire breath? For Garret: Big snoot means feeling more of the heat from a forge :o? (assuming there's a musky thing with a big boar bro...) Has the smithy ever gotten too musky for customers :o? For Arakarn: Ever accidentally snacked on his reagents because he's a big bear :p ?
HumanCoffee
For dragon and boar: I would want to ask what their favorite thing to make is for their respective craft. Bear: I would want to know of their deity (if they have one). I haven’t played the demo though. For dragon (a saucy question): are there any dragons with their bits that are out instead of in?

I’d definitely want to know how someone who looks more built than the blacksmith got into baking. That, and if he and said smith train together. I’ll think about more questions, too :D

Huh... All very good points/insight I didn't know. It makes sense, thanks for sharing!

Blacksmiths have insanely scary grip strength and do a lot of swinging. So they'll have scary really ropey forearms, huge triceps/pecs, and bone crushing handshakes. Bakers tend to do a lot of slow rolling motions for a lot of strength with kneading, so their pecs and triceps are no joke... but also are just constantly deadlifting and holding 50 lb bags of shit aloft, so their biceps/backs(traps/delts) get humongous. Bakers are also more disciplined and have a more set schedule, so they have pretty constant/well-kept gains.
DyneWulf
Oh wow, lots of good stuff for me to consider right here! Thanks so much~
DyneWulf
Good questions!
DyneWulf
Have you ever kneaded dough before? That can be intense work right there!
Carey Brown
Right?!? He's more jacked than the blacksmith! :)
Carey Brown
For Kacephalos: Does being a dragon make handling hot cookware easier? How do you get these pastries so flaky? How much time do you spend baking each day? (Flirt) It must be easy to knead dough with those muscular arms of yours. For Garret: Isn't the heat of the forge uncomfortable for you? The townsfolk must keep you pretty busy. How often do you get to go out and get more ore? Do you primarily make tools or just weapon and armor repairs? (Flirt) It must be hard to wash your back after a hard day's work. For Arakarn: Do you need any specific herbs? Do you grow any yourself in a garden? Have you thought about starting a garden? (Flirt) If I were ill, could I warm myself in your fur?
Wolvenguard
Does the blacksmith have any fear of his fur catching fire? Also does being a large sized healer hamper your ability to help others?

I'd ask the baker how he got so swole!
