Hey folks! Update 1.89 with Dozer is here and ready to go! It's a little later in the day than I wanted it to be, but... I mean, you'll see why.
- Dozer Day 25 - It's time for a vacation! Dozer is taking you to an all-expenses paid trip to the Brindle Mountain Lodge. And you guys know what he has in mind...
- Lots of new backgrounds from Gavel! You haven't seen many from him lately, but I had him focusing on the BGs for this update. You'll see the hard work he's been putting in!
- Attention to MAC users! According to Ren'Py's developer, update 10.15 Catalina on MACs might prevent you from playing Extracurricular Activities. He says - "The newest version of macOS, 10.15 Catalina, will require your games to be notarized by Apple before running." Now, I'm not a MAC user myself, so I don't know all the details behind it, but if this is the case, my MAC builds will not run on 10.15. I don't have a MAC (along with the Dev account) to create notarized builds. I don't even know if I'd be able to do it with that stuff either, due to the mature content of EA. This is just a heads up to my MAC folks.
- Reminder for everyone! October is upon us, so I won't be doing another EA update until November 16th. CaptainGerBear is working on his Orctober Tuskbuddy Exchange (be sure to check it out!), and I'll be putting together a small project for the month with Gavel. We'll be showing off more of that in the coming weeks, so stay tuned! All October Patrons will receive that project for free when we release it at the end of the month.

I dont go back and delete old links and passwords whenever I made new updates. There's no need for them after a new build is released.

Finally getting around to trying some routes which have been updated and I ran into a problem with Harold. It's right after you enter Richard's room to ask for a ride, you end up with error messages to ignore, more then one. Then finally get to the conversation right as he reaches Harold's house. Anyone else getting this error? Am I going to have to start route fresh to ignore it? Blah!

Hahaha, yeeeeah, we an all just blame Dozer for that bit. Glad to hear someone mention the lighting! GerBear worked on it with that in mind, and I really loved the overall mood it helped set ;3

Did you download it -after- I made edited posts, or did you download it when I first posted? There were errors when I first posted it, and I took those down and built the game again to post several hours later after I fixed the errors.

I got the error with the flip position part. No idea how to fix that and I started a new file to see if that worked.

Really loved this update, especially the part where Dozer destroyed my ass so hard it broke Ren'py 😂 Seriously though, it felt like the perfect payoff after the build-up and anticipation of the past few updates. It had just the right mix of romance and kaiju dominance I was hoping for, and I loved the fireside lighting effects in the CG's. 🔥🍑

Working on fixing it. I think there's an error involving the color codes for the MC (it's harder to test that stuff)

For anyone checking about an error >> I made a typo with a variable in the update, so it'll cause a crash at some point. DOwnload this file >> https://www.dropbox.com/s/7ulb206ot49lt11/Day25_Dozer.rpy?dl=0 << Put it into your "game" folder, and you should be good to go!
