I had that problem before. Found this on reddit which solved it, "navigate to "C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation\Drs" and deleting the file named "nvdrssel.bin""

I've never heard of that, so I googled it. Seems to be related to an Nvidia GPU bug or something. Seems to hit more than just Renpy stuff.

Not sure if it's some random debug setting that was accidentally left on, but I'm getting some small text in the top left of the window, saying "YES DC" or "NO DC" (putting this here because it's not tied to a particular route so I was unsure where to report it to)

There's no indication. The only real indication for Chester's that lets you know if you're in the right track is if you didn't get the bad ending, you got the good ending.

how would we know if any route is perfect? let alone chesters

Can you tell me a little more about the lines right before the Thank you message (what it says)? There is no thank you message at the end of Day 12 (not even one hidden in the code), so it might help me locate the issue. If you're playing from an old save file, it could be causing issues. If it's a new file, you might need to delete what you have and redownload it. You can also remove old save files by hovering over them and hitting the DELETE key, that way you can clear out any old or broken saves. One reason there is no Day index is because there are just too many choices that affect how days play out. I have considered setting up a method of letting players select certain things before selecting a day, but even then, it's not going to cover everything.

I couldn't find any way to get opast day 12: it just drops into "Thanks for reading" or some such. Why isn't there a day index that you cna use to find yoru way around? I have a mess of saves with nothing to distinguish route amongs them save thumbnail particpants and guesswork.

WOW. That was... intense (nose bleeding intensifies) BTW, I played the update before running Chester's ending. Then i ran it, let it go back to the main menu as you said, and played Dozer's day again, making the same choices. I noticed no changes at all, so I guess I didn't had a great score in Chester's route.
