I guess a successful conclusion of her investigation wasn't in the cards. It looks like she lost more than her shirt on that last hand and was forced to fold. Now she finds herself among the chips, waiting to be claimed by whoever wins the next! Looking on the bright side, at least this time, she's not going swimming, though her ultimate fate remains to be discovered!
Indeed, being honest never works in a situation like this! A poker face yes, but unfortunately Emily has lost this poker game.. Well... more like " strip poker" that is....🙄
