The right revisits sati not much about story of sati in different ways... While leftist like Katy simp for William Bentinck for banning sati to justify need to bramhinical colonise savages, the right explores this as marking point for start of white liberal nationalist globalisation that manufactures stories to justify their need of intervention through manipulated stories & numbers ..(which it still continues to do, AR unintentionally peddling lies would be great way to demonstrate this phenomenon).. infact british pondering over phenomenon of sati was first precursor of what White liberals have been doing

One more way to demonstrate this would be exploring jauhar and saki.. during an invasion (especially during Islamic invasions ) when Hindus would realise that they are grossly outnumbered and outpowered, warrior men would drees in saffron with aim to die in hand of enemy fighting . My Personal criticism about this take--while woman is supposed to burn herself to vanish from public life, after husband is supposed appoint successor & leave all his assets go on travelling until death... if women would not vulnerable as men, we probably would expect women leaving societies too... isn't this sign of man dedicating his towards woman?

2) there's no debate sparked over sati because of this incident..however the perceived the Left and the Right of India have started to re-analyse sati in last few years .. Both seem to in agreement with the fact that sati wasn't forced onto women in most of the cases.

1)Sati is done when husband is cremated not afterwards.. the demand for window by in-laws to become sati for months just doesn't add up.. even if this is death declaration..it doesn't pass smell taste.. seems like there was deep toxic relationship playing in background
