Trying a custom Patreon tier
🕑 Added 2018-07-27 09:06:04 +0000 UTC Now that I'm a little more in the swing of things, I'd like to offer the option for custom captions. For those who sign up to that tier, simply email a picture which you'd like to see have a story matched to. You can also provide a set of pictures, and I can pick one which works best for me, and maybe try to include several in a multi-part series, depending on if I see a good story told between them. You can also submit a story idea, though that is optional. Simply send it to ausdpr@gmail.com (there's also a message system on Patreon which you can use, though I'm not sure if you can attach photos. Links are fine).Most captions would likely be posted in the feed, but you can specify if you'd prefer it to remain private. If you'd like your name/nickname included for credit, feel free to include that, otherwise I will mention that it was commissioned by a Patron for privacy's sake. :)
It's almost the end of the month, so anybody who upgraded this month would get a commission now, and then another in a few days. If you forget to send an idea until the month after, that's fine, they can be submitted later as well.

I decided against setting any specific targets since captions can be so variable, other than I would definitely be doing my honest best to write a fun story which matched, for a few dollars on top of the regular patreon which unlocks everything else. Xydis sent 5 pictures for example and I ended up captioning 2 of them since there were so many good ones, with 419 and 563 words respectively, so probably in that sort of ballpark of on average. I doubt I'd go much lower than that, but could go quite higher in cases where there's a story to tell.
