The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update+ 06/March/2020

Managed to seriously make a leap forward on Book Three planning. There's a scene at the end that I am in love with. Something I didn't expect, but man, I can't wait!!
Next week I will be laying out all my plans on the floor to see where there's gaps in romance, friendship, active scenes, etc. Starting to really fill out those areas to make sure the story is balanced and there's always something interesting happening.
Then it'll be a case of adding it into the plans. So I'm fully on track to begin writing Book Three later this month!
There's also something I switched around in the plans for Book Four which is gonna be AMAZING! I didn't think I'd be able to bring in any hints about Book Five until actually Book Five, but realised there is a small hint at end of Book Three and an even juicier one in Book Four now...hehehehe!
As for The Curse of Creek Edge, that's going well too! GUI is a pain as usual, but a necessary pain that I can go on and get out of the way so as I can focus on the good stuff ;D
The MC sprite customisation is definitely going to take the longest, so I think I might try and get the other art assets done for the prologue before that. So keep an eye out for hints on those coming up next week!

For Update+ this week, I thought I'd share a little moment of M and the MC beginning to build a friendship (or possibly so, depending on your choices ;D)
"I'll do what I have to do," I reply without hesitation. "It's my job."
${mason} gives an approving nod. "We'll be right there with you doing the same thing."
A strange air of camaraderie settles between us as we continue to walk on in silence after that.

I am so friggin happy this will be seven books. Book 1 was awesome...I'm loving Book 2's demo and can't wait to get my hands on it. And knowing there is so much to come...yes. Thank you for this awesome story and characters. =D
